had the same problem but VF told me how to do it. you need to put the last series of the youtube URL between the wrap
> Fixed Seems WYSIWYG mode still inserts the entire URL - go into raw BB code and do it there. /Edit: Rightmost icon (yeah, full right, above the smileys) switches editor mode btw...
Read the posts in this thread - there is everything you need to post a working embedded youtube clip. But i'll explain it yet again: This is your link: [noparse]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQALeeHWJyE[/noparse] The red part is the ID of the youtube clip: [noparse]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[/noparse]BQALeeHWJyE The ID may be harder to spot sometimes when you use the full link from the address bar in your browser: [noparse]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQALeeHWJyE&feature=related[/noparse] The ID always starts with v= and ends at the first successive &: [noparse]http://www.youtube.com/watch?[/noparse]v=BQALeeHWJyE&feature=related The ID (and ONLY the ID) goes in between the [noparse]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[/no...parse][COLOR=red]BQALeeHWJyE[/COLOR][noparse][/noparse][/B] Just insert the ID in your post, select it the ID and click on the YouTube icon in the post editor. Preview your post before submitting it, if it still doesn't work, check if you have inserted the entire link by mistake - to do so, switch to from the WYSIWYG mode to the raw BB code mode using the Switch Editor Mode icon on the top right: There should be nothing but the ID between the [noparse][YOUTUBE][/noparse] tags, like shown above. (To return to WYSIWYG mode, click on the Switch Editor Mode icon again) Some clips may only be watched at youtube only and are not allowed for embedding, you might check this on the original youtube clip page in the light blue box on the top right (now below the video player) where the name of the one posting the clip and the description are located. For our example clip used above, the info panel looks like this: As it is allowed to embed this clip, the "Embed" line holds the HTML code (the <object width= bit) to embed this video on a website - this code does NOT work in here! When the clip isn't allowed to be embedded, this line reads "Embedding disabled by request" or something similar. Shinobi: Quote your own post, and switch to raw BB mode as described above in my post and you will see why yous didn't work - and btw... it works like this on ALL vBulletin based forums - iirc you managed to post vids somewhere else already, didn't you?
