Tonight after my dragon hunt I went to the City of Dreams to settle up with the TT and Repair. I was very surprised to see a lot of new players milling around and asking questions. I hung out for an hour or more chatting with them, helping them sweat, and sharing links for info with them. After a while I asked how they had heard about the game, and they all replied that they had just read about a 335k sale and wanted to come try the game out. (except for the guy who said he got high and googled about a universe game) Lots of new people are great for the planet, so lets make sure that we do what we can to help them to learn and progress into contributing members of society. narfi
That's awesome Narfi ... thanks for sharing, and YES ... as a result of our E-Team putting the EP front page article out in the universe, the news has grown like wildfire, and ... the incredible benefit for EP is, that the majority of the articles have a link-back to EP. As of this post ... there were 5,791 views of our front page article ... Oops, make that [STRIKE]5,793[/STRIKE] 5,797. This is a good thing, and something we will definitely continue to do in the future. We have a hard working E-Team, and it's just getting better, and ... the Media Team is about to expand a little bit, so stay tuned for the announcement.
at least he's on the right planet then that article really made it's way around the world. was there a similar hype about the crystal palace?
Almost :) Though we are now better to make sure the information reach around ;) But yes, that day we released that exclusive news about the sale of CP, the hits also exploded ^^
Talk about explosion ... I just noticed that the views of the front page article are up to 6,049 since being published. We have media gremlins dressed like priests and wiki wookies that send stuff like this out to the universe, and we don't even have to feed them ... although, they do sneak into the press room and dip into the printer ink now and then - I say, whatever expands your drawers, and ... as long as we have enough ink to print our articles.
E(P)-team ftw : ) I'm amazed by the work you all seem to put into this (really nice site, articles worth reading, interviews, a magazine, wiki-pages full of info, ...) ... do you have more hours in a day than me? have you found a bug in the space-time-continuum? i could really use some more time (and energy), if you can help me with that, i'll be happy to help out with the E(P)-site, but i fear you will keep your unlocked secrets to yourselves ;p /em bow to E-team
yes, good question :) I don't know the answer myself (muahahah not gonna tell) ... But Ido try and plan my hours after when I can work on forums in my free time ... because both Peter and I have full time jobs next to this ;) *bows back* thanks :)
Thanks : D : ... I had to learn to move at MachStar9 with my hair on fire to keep up, but I think that's when I do my best work. However, working with the crew we have here at EP is just amazing, and I couldn't ask for a better bunch of wack-a-doos to keep me hoppin' and laughin' and brainstorming, and, and, and ... what can I say, they just ROCK.
