Hmm its only been.... er.... er... well for arguments sake, I left before vu 9 was switched on and aside from a 1 day visit to see "the end of the world" just before ce2, not been on Calypso since.... heck its been too long... Bit of a change.... and not quite as good once in game, but on the whole reasonably happy with the CE2 version of Wisty :p A slightly arty version sepia'd up from the ava creation screen just for fun ;) Wistrel PS CE2 Calypso looked stunning!

Thanks :) and it's good to see an *old face* again (hey, you know I don't mean it like that :D) Everything in game changed a lot. I will say if you have been away for a while it's like starting a new game ... on both good and bad. If your computer has the right resolution you actually have a really awesome looking game - but it's still buggy, unfortunately - and just as expensive, you make it ;)
Well I've followed some changes but I know a lot I don't understand from posts yet and yes there will be plenty to find out about and try again. Puter seems ok I think, tend to run in a small window anyhow. Need to get anti alias turned on somehow but yeh need to plough through all those options we now seem to have in game - its quite a change!!

haha well I went out at the end of vu8 proudly wearing my settler armour and came back wearing it for the end of the world party at the end of vu9. Alas its no longer blue :'( (shakes fist at MA over vu9 armour design overly radical changes). Looked quite good on my "1 day" avatar (which in a random moment of orginality was dark haired and skinned). Obviously cause everything changed though I had to sort through my clothes and armour to find something that "worked" (bodyguard thighs, gloves and shins, chaos top and faded black jacket - I'll post a pic maybe another time). I've more or less stuck to that in vu11 so far. Going to need to prune my collection of clothes/armour I think as loads looks no good these days. As for blogs well, diary was a long long time ago now but yes I AM hoping to get my writing muse back. I'm hoping maybe I can get back to writing for TCP.... maybe can say something on the newbie vet returning and not knowing how to do anything anymore! Wistrel
