  1. I'm intending to download Joomla! (the '!' is part of the name, so I'm not flaming here :D) content management system, but to be able to use it I will first have to install Apache, MySQL, PHP (A.M.P). Basically my question is, has anybody done this, and if so, did installing the 'A.M.P' go smoothly, or did Windows give error messages, i.e is it safe, etc, installing 'A.M.P' and using it
Thanks if anyone can give advice on this...

  2. Have had no issues with this in a work environment where all is safe behind a firewall, only thing to watch out for is that the php/MySQL versions are fully compatible.

  4. Great that you had no issues, that's made me feel safer about the idea of installing A.M.P. I'll be using just the standard Windows firewall, and info on Joomla!'s forums shows which php/mysql versions to use. Thanks :)
