    No need to go independent. MA runs a platform but doesn't own a forum? They just use the forum of a servant of one of the platform users (Planet Calypso=Planet Partner)?

    MA could make a platform forum, run by MA, named "Entropia Universe Forum". Without Nazis and MoFos. They are simply too stupid. Since ever.

    Any questions being asked here are not directed at MA, and nobody expects them to be answered by MA either.

    But rest assured, their (once again) partial move has been noted.

  3. 1.) Any questions "answered" on the other forum, are as usefull as unanswered questions here.
    or, if you didnt get the hint...
    2.) Any questions "answered" on the other forum, are as useless as unanswered questions here.

    If you havent understood that by now, keep enjoying "making a difference"...pffft...*LOL*...epic... x'D

  4. And no one yet asked...
    How does one patch KDE2 under FreeBSD?

    I absolutely respect that approach and I've considered something similar a couple of times already. But so far I can't get myself to support PCF in any way, shape or form, not the nepotism, not the hypocrisy, not censorship, neither all the other bullshit, and it's a pity that I have to pay for PCF through my deposits already. I don't avoid it because of emotional reasons but because of ethical reasons. I anyways only contribute on very special occasions to purely commercial sites who claim ownership of all my content. I was a frequent contributor to EF but I couldn't take all of this anymore, that's why I moved to EntropiaPlanets ~10 years ago, and after that EF/PCF only got worse.

    And I don't think my contributions there wouldn't make any difference at all, I'll rather spent my time improving EntropiaPlanets. For me personally it's simply the better approach to polish the hidden gem than trying to make the shithole a tiny bit less shitty. And after EntropiaPlanets finally gets its long overdue upgrade I'll look into getting more interviews again, MA will probably keep ignoring all requests but an ex-MA employee has almost agreed :)

    That's certainly correct. But my questions specifically wouldn't get answered by Mindark anyway, so in that respect it would be useless to ask them at all. The only reason for asking them would be a little bit more exposure for the issues. And that wouldn't make a difference either, as 10+ years of continuous misconduct have confirmed. The only questions actually is whether listing these questions here makes any sense.

    I really don't want to expand on this any further, I respect your approach based on your experiences as much. I just like to point out an error in interpretation, like you corrected mine (ethical vs. emotional): I don't intend to make PCF better, I know this would be futile. It is solely a tool, because it provides the communication channel to those I need to reach. As for ethical reasons, they don't get additional funds through my continued participation. It simply makes no difference. Hence I find it unnecessary to strip myself of available means to the ends which themselves are not ethically objectionable (I hope). Read Sun Tzu's "Art of War" and Donald Trump's "Art of the Deal", regardless what you think of the ethics of either. It is about reaching YOUR goal.

    I certainly had some the of lowest expactations but seems like they even failed to meet mine. That's sad. It was a chance for really improving dev-community relations.

    Wow. Just wow.

    A new face, same old tricks. Including the copy/paste reply.

    @Spawn - Was the AMA everything you hoped for?

    As some people already stated on the other forum, most questions were 250% uninteresting crap anyway.
    So the "answers" werent "answers" either. Asking such questions after 10 years of getting raped (without realizing it, as they have stockholm syndrome), says alot about these players.

    But SEEing how some players still get a boner on bullshit copy&paste "answers" like:
    "Its currently not on our list but it might come one day" says a lot about Mindark and those gamers...jesus...

    10 years of bullshit, but...amagawd, thank you so much for copy&pasting in our faces all the time... x'D
    This feels like a long term psychological project to me by now..."How long can we fuck with peoples minds/credit cards"

    I read through 90% of the questions/"answers"...

    Honestly, those disturbed gamble addicts need it this way...they will complain and get enraged...again and again...but they will keep wasting their dollars, as they are afraid of loosing their previous investments. THATs what Entropia is about, since a long time now.

    Those "answers" are one big joke. Mindark knows it, the community knows it, but it has been like this since 10 years now.

    It will never change...but 1 simple copy&paste per year, will make the "believers/gamblers" silent again...sick psycho shit. :'D

    And Mindark isnt even good at "PR gags" anymore...they truly suck...yet there are still people out there with boners, everytime a random, useless phrase gets posted by Mindark.

    I wont say "I have pointed at this problems since 2009" now...because it is not needed this time...

    I hope this AMA has opened some more eyes this time...rofl...

    I'm also quite surprised, to be honest. My expectations were set by the past 15 years that I've known MA (so not very high to begin with), but I figured seeing there's a new young CEO at the helm and the recent surprisingly candid admissions that Compet and the ICO were gigantic failures, we might see something refreshing.

    Nope.

    * Cherry-picking questions
    * Copy/paste answers that didn't reveal anything new.
    * Vague promises

    The whole AMA was very much hyped up, and can/should go down the books like the Reddit AMA with Woody Harrelson, which was a marketing ploy disguised as an AMA. It was a gigantic waste of time, and rather than using it to their advantage, I fear MA once again managed to shoot themselves in the foot, and probably alienated even more of their customers.

    one of my questions got answered..

    we can't go into loot algorithm bla bla.. But who knows, maybe something will stick and they might implement something. Or restart compets, this time it will work!
