Amir Games - Planet of Dreams

  1. There are dozens of (nice) MMOs made with unit already.

I respect the time and graphical work people spend into such "little" projects in their freetime.
A project, that will probably never ever be recognized by the masses.

Maybe you should have a look at "Project Ion" too.

  2. RAZER

RAZER Custom title ... uh ...

Yep, project Ion was what came to mind as well
If only all those small game would work together and create one :grouphug:

Ya like a universe.. where each game would be a separate planet and money and stuff would move between .. and.. ahh ... ohhhhh... that will never work :)

I want to kick Drones! I always felt MA should introduce something like pointy sticks that do one damage and can be used once and collected from the ground like stones fruit etc. A 12 man stick hunt could do the same work as one man with an opalo. Hardly breaking the back and you have 12 people having fun in your game which is cheap advertising really.

Punch of kick for one damage could be an option too I guess... again, hardly a bank breaker.

  5. You could punch in Entropia from alpha 1.5 to beta 3.0 or so.

You could harvest in early beta. Aiming the harvester at plants to gather ressources.
AA batteries were the "ammo" of this tool back then.

And you coudl use the meat-extractor on dead mobs in early beta.
Aim extractor at dead mob to gather ressources.

I remember a painted image of purple grenades. Was about the time when Marco mentioned "prone" mode on avatars.

A group of 30 people opaloing Araneatrox was fun indeed.

Wow really! I didn't know those things at all! hehe shows what a noob I am l ;)
I saw your pics of meat extractors and harvesters. I didn't know they were ever functional though! "prone mode"... that rings a dim distant bell. Was it a long running joke or something? Goddamit I wish my soc mate would pull his finger out and do whatever he needs to do to "sanitise" the Entropia Pioneers forum. Would be great to be able to look over some of those old threads.

I actually used a grenade launcher the other day to obliterate a puny that was up a cliff I couldn't climb but too far back for me to get a shot off. Was really chuffed all my "worms armageddon" skills suddenly came in handy!

PS 30 man araneatrox :D I did a soc araneatrox hunt for something like my 5th birthday, was great fun! I miss the old team options of equal split and leader takes all. Made life SO much easier when you hunted with people you trusted.

  7. Both games started around the same time back in 2011/2012.
The lead developer from Planet of Dreams was a player as well in Entropia and later in Afterworld.

Is nice to see how both games progressed overtime.

And all developers that work with the Unity engine, not specific Project Ion and Planet of Dreams developers work already together, since the Unity community acts like "one" and sharing a lot of "know how" and "how to?".

Along with a democratic system regarding "where to go with Unity3D" makes it a engine for and from the people.
