Just some things, that annoy me since many months, if not ages. -Friendlist bug(s). To many of them. -Hiryuu....in ground...since 1999...and rippersnappers on land again and again and again...since 15 years -Select target in PVP. (Lupus claimed its fixed since many months, but its not) -The super fast grass movement animation. (annyoing and ressource eating) + it looks super stupid -The message "An avatar needs to be outside to spawn a vehicle" in certain areas, while you are clearly outside (For example around East Scylla Mountains Center) -Mobs spawning inside of trees, geting stuck (possible everywhere) -The sound of woods + birds singing in FOMA domes and its racetrack. Seriously ? -Mobs getting so close, you are standing inside of them -Some clothes still arent fixed completely yet -Monster/item sounds totally mixed up since years, a "thing" that steady continues. Meanwhile most mobs use the sounds of other mobs or "remixed" versions of it. If you know all the mobs since 2004 like me, this is one of the strangest feelings to get. :S -Mob intelloigence / horde AI, that has been discussed since 15 years by now. It is not there. (Mobs attacking the healer 1st, even if the hunter tagged and shoot it various times already, does not count, as I think MA is not even aware of it...and even if they would call it feature, it would still be a bug.) ^^ -Trees you can walk through and trees you cant walk through. A "feature" since 2001. But why not finally start making themn all "not walkthrough" ? -Old FAPs animation out of sync with reload bar after some clicks -Heavy Weapon Symbol not fixed -ATH Sound should be ATH Sound, not the "You had a HOF sound" :/ Scares the shit out of everyone each time ! -We got Cryengine 2, but models and textures and landscapes from 2003...except the 3 new pets that dont really fit into Entropia, look a close to CE2 quality...so I guess they arent made by MindArk. -To be continued "Miss Evade, please wait !" "Im currently busy, waiting for the previous action to finish !" "Failed!" p.s. feel free to post your own so I can add them to the upper list
Alf Svenssen saying one of the things he was looking forward to was not having mirrored avatars. For some time we had this with cryengine ie textures on clothes that were asymmetric - it looked good. Then MA seemed to think it was fine to change everything back to symmetric mirrored textures. Thus, once again undermining the "texturing profession". Alf turned in his grave then realised he wasn't dead yet (hopefully not anyhow). I wonder what Marco thinks of this place now. Can add also the flickering dash boards and low quality textures inside vehicles. I know you mentioned friend list but the needing to scroll up every time annoys me the most. It is starting to remind me of the pec bug in that it is really obvious, reflects badly on the company and effects everyone. Ignoring old lore and making up new stuff only to be thrown away forgotten the next minute. All the stuff missing from years gone by, the pandora tower, the umbranoids, minopolis, wreckage. So much stuff half finished or nice things made but then with no purpose. Doors that don't open
The one on the right.... annoys the shit out of me.... either of the other two would be fine... flippin' MA.
They simply immolate former good content to ... ehrm ... to ... to ... o wait! They improve the game! It's all done for your benefit only. LOL! I hated the fitted octagon breasts at my old Lion as well when they appeared. They bended down the epaulets as well. That makes sense in a technical way (better protection) but looks simply shitty. You and me, Wistrel, care for details MA never noticed that they could probably be important for us customers. Same with grumpy ol' man McCormick I guess. Who the hell is interested in history and missed chances? We are a few only. We may lament about such details. MA won't care about it. They never did. I'm 9.5 only. I think OZtwo meant that clothes shrink when you wash them to often ;-)
sounds about right. Not been in to test them but wouldn't surprise me. Certainly nothing in the list springs to mind as something I've seen reported as being fixed anyhow
