im i the only one that isnt that bothered by Rocktopia. I've not bothered to log in to EU, let alone go to see the new wonder land. maybe its a general apathy towards EU since the shit loot really kicked in and before that when VU10 changed everything, i just dont seem to be much interested. after all the waiting, it seems the journey was far more exciting than the destination.
No, you're not the only one - i expected the new planets to be more than just a lame copy with a revamped ( no pun :P ) version of argos and malcruentors... even the ores&enmatters are the same... dunno why it took them so long to make new textures for argos and design some new buildings. And 40 PED to TP there (and 40 PED back i reckon), wtf?
well.. to be fair.. if the economy has to work with "Planet Calypso" (Cant call it EU anymore.. lol).. Then it pretty much ash to be "a big land area"... I would like to see new minerals tho.. Would make sense to go there then...
Nobody forced them to make the economy "work with Planet Calypso" - two separate economy systems, or only partially "overlapping" would have been far more interesting.
Not going there in a while, mostly scared of how the auctions may slow down due to transport fees and xx% of Calypsians moving there.
I'm still waiting for a new addition to the Entropia Universe. Namely, a planet that is at least connected in some way to the history of Project Entropia as we the colonists know it. Rocktropia ain't it, baby! Yeah!
I am there and many of the top names are there too. Nadie, Jenna mercury,Wildman, Omega, ND, Sodi, Freyr,etc, etc. etc. I like the expansion and more tps to ad to my map. cant wait for next island. Its not quite so bad at all.
Im there now. Most exciting thing that happened was saying hi to Razer. Im a bit disappointed yes. The music is good, the landscape looks beautifull but the mobs are next to hilarious. Lone wolves? Dragons & a kind of argo with axe? Wtf? Im sorry, I always liked Motorhead but this is silly. edit: maybe I should explore a bit more. just first impression.

I expect that once the novelty wears off, the great majority will return to Calypso. I just hope Next Island will actually add something with the time travel poosibilities, but seeing the first planet rollout doesn't really get me into very positive mindset about it. Some new scenery, some newly texturized and named mobs, but the same casino bullcrap lurking underneath everything.
It might cost me some globals here but..... Rocktropia feels like a Disney world of EU. Dragons, zombies, wolves? I play Dragon Origins if I wanted to do that without any cash loss. Newcomers can arrive here? No storyline? No mission broker for newcomers to get started. They must pay 40PED to Calypso to start? Feels like WoW drainer without any substantial back up. And if there was any storyline (robot wars) this place has no role there. I was maybe making a mistake that the expanding of the universe was part of our human defence against the robots. MA, it started so good. What happened? Maybe I should cut down on my beer consumption lol
