  3. Prepare for action and a lot of fun, but also for a hefty armor and fap bill :)

Hopefully you will hit a good loot period when you are up there, the bad periods can really suck one dry on high hp and fast regeneration mobs like that.

    Good luck!

I haven't been to CP since VU9, so some of this info might be out of date.

If Dome 1 still has the lowest maturity mobs then perhaps start in that dome. I suggest when you enter the dome turn left or right and stay near the wall as you go along. These mobs have a large aggro range, so at least by staying near the wall you minimise the chance of mobs attacking you from the wall side. Be very aware of any red dots on the radar, as any of them could start running for you without warning or reason. If you are killed, the run back from the revive terminal always feels like you are running in slow motion, and meanwhile the mob is busy regenerating health or possibly running off to attack another hunter. By hunting close to the entrance, at least you have less distance to run back so hopefully you can get back to the mob in time to continue hunting it.

Once you have dispatched enough mobs to feel confident hunting them, you can move away from the walls and go looking for trouble. There used to be some higher ground little hills at various places, with the centre of the dome as a low ground valley. If you locate on one of the hills then you have a clear shot at almost any mob that spawns around you. A marber or long range tagging weapon is very useful here, to tag and attract a mob toward you, while hopefully not alerting the other mobs that might be nearby.

Staying near the dome entrance soon becomes frustrating, because any other hunters are also having to enter the dome at that spot, so the mobs can be aggro'd and behave erratically with hunters running past them frequently. If you are surviving the mobs well, a good idea is to work your way along the wall of the dome to the end furthest from the entrance. There used to be a false door here, with a turret in front that you could use as a safe spot to rest, heal, refine skins etc. Leave the turret area, get on the nearest hill and hunt. When you need a break you can return to the turret. This end of the dome usually has fewer hunters around, therefore the mobs are less likely to erratically run around chasing everyone. Unfortunately because there are fewer hunters, it means that you will be high on the list of potential food for the mobs to chew on, so be ready for some furious hunting once the mobs decide to attack you.

Especially in a team, the hunting at Crystal Palace can be exciting and a lot of fun. The fast and regular attacks tend to trigger more regular skill points, especially in evade, and the loot can be nice if the grumpy mobs there are in a mood to drop some decent loot.

Good luck at CP, I'll look forward to hearing how you go, and hope to see lots of nice swirlie pics. :yahoo:
