Found this out from the bbc website. He was one of my fav' sci-fi authors, and wrote the novel 'The Player of Games' (as well as many others), which is what I based my own in-game AV name on, and well, bit of a shock to say the least. Aged 59... Heck :/
I do not know him to be honest, but always sad to hear someone has died. The dislike rating I gave you is of course not for the post, but because of the man dieing.
