from the scammer and hacker post thread I noticed the mention of the high end L armors and that they had been dropping for a long time now. I just had my second year anniversary on the 9th of December and even though I have been able to play all day everyday for almost the full 2 years I haven't been in game as long as most all of you. Soooo, the question at hand is; how long have the high end L armors been dropping and what sets (if they are complete or not) exist? and when I say high end I mean like eon and supremacy :)
I am not sure if all parts has dropped when it comes to Supremacy, Shadow, Angel, Eon and the parts that do drop seem to go for kind of idiotic % since some people (mostly F avatars) buy them for looks thinking they are cool and awesome which they never are... If you are out looking for a nice upper end L hunting armor and dont care about mix and match you can always mix the cheap 115% or below parts of Martial, Boar, Tiger,Jaguar parts for a nice combo. Basically any L armorpiece that is 115%/120% markup or lower costs the same to use as the Unlimited counterpart since the L versions decay less thanks to 10000more in durability. This is why some UL armors such as Boar, Bear and Thunderbird has lost so much in marketvalue since some of the L parts are commonly available at almost TT price. As of now a full unlimited Thunderbird set is a useless waste of cash since the L version is extremely commonly available at great %...only way Thunderbird UL would be worth buying is if MindArk cuts the L part drops down to a 100th of what it is now If you are looking for a PK armor and dont wanna spend 100k on Eon like a few years ago you can buy Infiltrator or Hermes parts. Sometimes there are medium to low tt parts ending up on auction meaning you can get same burn/penetration protection as Eon for a cost as low as 2000-3000peds. I dont really recommend buying high tt parts since it locks up alot of ped and you have to PK ALOT to break a high tt set. For instance during Landgrab I had about 1-2ped decay per piece total on 3 phases so no point for me getting a 200ped tt part
Thanks for the response. I'm looking more for how much the high end armors drop, not the tiger, jag, boar (although that's high end to me). The reason I am asking is because I would like to loot some of the parts, maybe go on a mission to try to build an L set of higher end armor.
Some parts drop quite often. Most are pretty rare. Some L parts drop from event mobs. For instance Eomon drop sup harness L and Sent Gloves L The only part that is common is eon footies from hogglos. but for the rest its pretty rare. And from pretty high end mobs.
