OK, I guess this is a mistake, but I hope anyone else can check this. Yesterday I wrote a post on the Toulan Forum about the amount of spam that is still on there. Did this before and some was removed, but there was more again. Today I went to look if I had a reaction and I got a message I was banned ?! My guess is that while cleaning up some spam and banning the spammers I was banned as well as a mistake. So can anyone with a account there check if they got banned as well, to figure out what happend? Thanx
Thanx Tass, was not really complaining, just pointing out a fact. Send a message to the admin over there, so should be ok soon I guess. Send using Tapatalk
Hey Razer, It was a mistake, and we're sorry for the slip up...! The (silly) ban should be lifted now (-: We have been having problems with spammers at Toulan Forum, something we're working to fix asap, but do keep us posted if you have difficulties with the forum site.
well I'm back in !!! Was afraid that would have been my first ever ban. But one thing now is that all the 'legal' posts are gone now to, sure there were just a few, but still ;) I also see that the currently online members are not people that are planning to write anything nice on there. Maybe you guys need to add one of those chapcha (or whatever they are called) thingies, or start using Xenforo, that seems to be better in about anything, talk to Peter/admin about that, he is probably willing to help you guys out.
Captcha is a possibility and we are looking into several options, the website is still in beta so we have the chance of seeing what works best...! If anyone else did get wrongly banned, please send me over a message or reply to this thread and we'll lift it asap (-:
As soon as my pc is back (it's at the shop. Just broke down the other day) i can try and see if i can help you out, Farah.
I have no clue yet. It just shut down on me, and seeing the only replacement part I had was a power unit (which I think was not the issue), I had to bring it into the shop. I'm hoping to hear more today. I fear it might be the motherboard or CPU, but let's wait and see. The PC is only just over a year old, so I might have things covered by warranty. I just really need my PC working again.
