This is NOT a thread for discussing specific scams - but more a warning to people (new players) because of the latest scams in our Universe. If you deposit or have value for more than 20USD - invest in a GOLDCARD. The GOLDCARD is your security that someone cannot hack your pc from the outside and rip you off. The GOLDCARD is like a CREDITCARD - meaning, you have a code on it and you do NOT hand over your GOLDCARD or goldcard reader to anyone. It is personal just like a passport and CC is personal. You are not borrowing either of these (hopefully) to anyone either. If you do NOT have a GOLDCARD never EVER hand over any personal info connected to your account (login/password). People can then change your login and you won't be able to get into your account again, while they are having a feast with your items. Do NOT borrow out any items you are not willing to loose! Always have that in mind, that you might never see them again! It is your own responsibility and of your own risk if you hand over sensitive informations or any items to anyone! Unfortunately this brings us to a sensitive matter: NEVER TRUST ANYONE IN GAME - not even your dearest, loveone, girl- or boyfriend, mom or oldest best friends ... sometimes things are not what they seem, and if your girl- or boyfriend one day get's pizzed at you, you never know how they react! This goes for your mom too ... It's easier to say no to everybody with the reason "It's one of my principles never to borrow out anything/handing over my avatar/Items etc. to anyone" everytime someone asks - than it is to try and get your fortune back after a scam. If it really IS a good friend, he/she will understand! Never borrow out anything because of misunderstood goodness or because you feel sorry for someone - the only one who will feel sorry in the end is you! Thinking it can never happen to you is naive - knowing it never happens to you because you follow the above, is a fact!
