OK was loggin in at Swamp Camp today and there was a guy asking people to pay him 1 PED for him healing them. After I shouted in the local chat that healing with a Vivo T1 cost him just a few pecs and that I would do it for free he vanished. So just a reminder to all newbies, don't pay for your heals and if you do wanna do it, pay a reasonable price.
Vivo repair after 10 uses costs about 0.1 PED(healing 1 person = 10 uses Vivo [T0]?) so never pay more than 0.1 PED for full heal :P or better spend this money for your own vivo ;]
Sure it is OK to pay for service, but 1 PED to heal is WAY to much. As stated in the post above a full health is about 0.1 PED (depending on the FAP). And if you pay 1 ped for every heal in 15 heals you can buy your own Vivo or FAP 5. And everywhere you go there are people fapping you for free, who do it to help noobs or get skills.
Some guy was actually charging for healing at Swamp Camp? Its a free service to the new players... at least it is for me and virtually every other healer there. Dont pay. Save your PED for a healer to follow you later on when you need to kill some Proteron.
The way I see it. People fapping or healing in a newbie area are doing it to skill. Some actually do it to help. If anyone should be saying thank you its the player doing the skilling. Which as BlackHawk threatened, people could claim you healing them is harrassment ;)
Join Date 30th June 2010 that says it all, stick around and you'll fit right in and be forgiven for even your worst posts There are a few scammers ingame, but in the few months i've been on Calypso i've found that (baring the occational bad day) the community is very helpful and tolerant of n00bs like me. A good rule of thumb is if you didn't ask for it don't pay for it, (baring random acts of generosity), and if anyone sticks anything in a trade window, or requests a trade, that you did not ask for save your time close it and walk away Back to the Topic , sorry, I FAP when ever the opportunity arises. I get skills, Thank you's, :), friends, someone even gave me some bottles of sweat once, but most of all i get a warm fuzzy feeling from helping others and that is the payoff for me. And maybe one day i'll be able to FAP for the BIG BOY's/GIRLS and get to do something I enjoy and get my decay covered, maybe even a tip to affirm i did a good job but for now i'm more of a tolerated pain in the VSE
