    I won't have the time to work on the map the coming weeks.

    Maybe someone else can edit it.

    AI file attached to the post. It has a few general layers fx walls and 1 layer for each beacon size. All mission layers are just ducplicates of the 23 PED mission, which means they are all wrong so far.

    On Jennifer's Island you can find an very easy training beacon mission instance you can enter for free.

    My wife and a couple of soc mates went to try it last night, but couldnt get it to trigger.
    1st it said not enough people in the team. So she got another 1-2 people, then it wouldnt respond at all.

    I wonder if its a one at a time instance like the old beacons were?

    I tried to enter it alone and it said the team needs at least one more team member. And we did it in a team of 2.
    I've been there today and saw a team entering the instance while another team was still in. So it's not 1 at a time but it might have an "X at a time" limit.

    Loot, by the way, seems to have about the same return rate like the other beacons. A prepared team shouldn't spend more than ~20 PED ammo & decay. And returns so far reported have been between 5 and 10 PED. And also 1 Flare Filter was reported.

    Looks like there is a dependency on the location of the team members. Not sure where they need to be exactly, same planet, same revive area, etc

    I was on Rocktropia and in the team. I am pretty sure I left team and told her to try again, but she was getting pretty frustrated, so not sure if she did or not.

    VU 12.5.2, interesting:


    BEACON MISSIONS
    • Beacon interiors have been enlarged and redesigned to improve playability.
    • Beacon robots have been renamed and rebalanced, they are now slightly tougher but not as many.
    • The number of storage container loot boxes in each Beacon has been increased to 21.
    • Storage container loot boxes are now randomly placed within the Beacon.
    • Real-time team member statistics display- damage, healing, kills, deaths, etc.
    • Timers have been adjusted in balance with the recent level design changes
    • Loot from unopened storage container loot boxes is now added to the storage container boxes in subsequent Beacon missions.
    • Each Beacon level now has its own unique end boss that guards a storage container loot box which holds a large part of the total loot for each Beacon mission.
    • Minimum number of players required to enter Beacon missions has been lowered from 4 to 2. Note that the recommended team size is a minimum of four players to complete Beacon missions effectively.
    • The number of checkpoints have been reduced in all Beacon missions.
