There is a Campaign going on to try to save our Pubs, if anyone in a position to help please do so..... I’m Backing the Pub – write to your MP The Chancellor of the Exchequer will be introducing his next Budget in the coming weeks, and with it the threat of even higher taxes on Beer, despite all the damage that this will do to our industry. You can make a difference by sending an email to your local MP asking them to back the campaign. This is very easy to do: · Click on http://www.backthepub.com/ · Type your postcode into the “Petition Your MP” box and click “Go” · The Petition your MP page will now come up identifying your MP · Type your name and email address into the two boxes at the top of the screen · Type your address into the boxes at the bottom of the screen · Click on “send message”. It’s that easy. Then, please pass this message on to your own friends and contacts, and encourage them to do the same. The more support this campaign receives, the more chance we have of persuading the Government to abandon plans for more increases in Beer duty in the forthcoming Budget.
