A guy the other day at Mo's Beach asked me if I used big words in an attempt to sound intelligent, or something to that effect. I found that to be a really funny observation, because I do wax loquatious and err on the polysyllabic side. I also created that sentence on purpose to sound pretentious. In that spirit I will proceed with this missive utilizing magnanimous verbage blessed with multiple extraneous graphemes! My reply to this inquisitor was in the negative; I do not use prominent verbage to sound erudite, increasing perception of my intellectual demeanor. I use bulky verbage because such tools come naturally to me through years of compositive authorship and studies. I should give due credit to my mother for her efforts to expand my vocabulary to the far side of the common vernacular. She would routinely propose to my youthful self the option to find a better word for issues I had trouble explaining without context. If big words makes me sound smarter thats awesome! Sometimes I feel like I need all the help I can get! :)
Nope. I talk to Nighthawk plenty though. His propensity for the obscure is like my own, although he tends to talk more about politics and Swedish foods than language. I've learned alot about that stuff from him!
