Instead of posting a new thread everytime someone finds a bug on Entropia Planets Tracker I would like a thread where we could see status on the bugs. Also, so we dont keep PM'ing them to Peter and Wizz. And on that notice. I just found something strange. In the live list I can see the following line: 2010-04-20 19:43:44 Paavo PP Pesusieni OreAmp OA-104 (L) 1 (listed as HOF - with a value of 1) If I click Paavo's name the entry isent in "his globals", so its like its discarding it under his "page" but not in the live list. /runs for cover...
Starfinder, it is MY duty to set up a "bug report" thread - as soon as someone else but you reports bugs - there hasn't been a single bug report for the EPT client so far. The forum part of the tracker is still under heavy development - so it is too early for a "bug report" thread there, too - you are aware of this because i, personally, told you so - more than once. All the forum parts will be reworked anyway. And especially this particular problem has been announced by the EP tech crew under "known problems", it has been discussed at least 2 times after that (i.e. just 7 days ago here)- so why, Starfinder, why this thread, why this post, why? You even knew that you are just plain annoying: It would be so nice if you'd grow up eventually, best would be before you complete your mission to find my personal threshold - you won't like it when i'm pissed off, trust me there.
That post speaks about double postings of globals. The bug I stumbled over here wasent double posting - but a global with "1 PED" value, something I had not seen before. I just thought you would be interrested in getting all the bugs listed so you could fix them. And yes, im "running for cover" because every time I post something about a bug for your tracker you seems to want to ban/kill me. Also, im im not mistaken.. The "bug report" you linked to was not made by me.. So Isent entirely true is it? Also.. I trust this isent a threat? Anyways.. If you dont want bug reports.. Say so.. "Bug reports" which I had already posted here in the sub forum (double postings of globals for instance).. When they were back after you disabled the "quick fix" I mearly PM'ed Peter to say they were back... As this was a known problem I dident want to make a new thread. This is a bug I have not seen before, and as I said - instead of people flooding you guys with PM's.. wouldent it be better for a thread/post about it?.. Also so other people could see its being taken care of?... Im sorry... /runs for cover *again...*
This is not even a bug, it's a feature - Tierups levels are shown under the Value column - if you meant that by 1 "PED" - Or do you maybe mean the 1,133 PED Hof that is correctly listed here: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/forums/tracker.php?do=search&username=Paavo PP Pesusieni I'm sorry, but i thought the thousand separator would increase the readability... would you prefer the european variant (1.234,56) over the american variant (1,234.56)? Funny tho that you didn't spot the real bug there - the PED values should be right aligned, just like in the live feed. ;) I hav told you already that i welcome feedback from people actuall USING the tracker, be it the EPTracker client or the forum part - you just need our live tracker to iron out the bugs in your own tracker, that hardly qualifies for "user" - hence no "user interest" from your side, correct me if i'm wrong. And i already told you that i am very interested in bug reports from anyone - except you. Nah, you're running for cover because you've been asked countless times to stop being "helpful" - and you know you shouldn't post stuff like this YET again. It was no official "Bug report" thread, and Razer and George can bug me anytime with bugs ;) - and not only because they USE the tracker, unlike you. Yes, it is entirely true - MA changing log phrases after the release is not bug, nor are things MA fucked up - please make an effort to find a definition of "bug (software)" You can trust in whatever you want, hun. No bug reports from YOU - you overdid it with 3 or 4 PMs a day over alledged "bugs" that were either announced as known problems/under construction or simply not even bugs - we didn't get as many "reports" from others in total. And i already told you that LONG ago, several times, on Skype and in PMs, so don't come telling me "Just say so" now. Iif the need arises, we will set up a bug tracking thread (for forum features we consider no longer as "being worked on") where the first posts list the current status of the bug - now tell me, shall i always PM you when a bug status needs to be updated in the opening post? No, you're not - you wouldn't do it again and again and again and YET AGAIN.... if you were truely sorry.
I'm probably going to clean this thread up, but for now, let me address the reported bug. I just tested the functionality on the live feed and added a test global with a 1k+ value. This showed up as a value of 1, so it seems there might be a legit bug in the display code. I will investigate. Thanks for reporting :) I'll look into the possibilities of adding an actual bug tracker system to the forum as well.
