bugged new weapons

    not quite sure where to post this so im putting in this thread for the dev's

    it seems that some of the new weapons are meant to be UL but even though the L is missing they are unable to be repaired, like the sword of wisdom that emma discovered. When can we expect a fix for these weapons so that they are actually UL instead of bugged where we cant repair them?

    I know rocktropia had the same problem with some craftable armor last vu. The armor was suppose to be colorable and UL but couldnt be repaired even though the L was not present on the armor. The dev team for RT said it will be fixed with their next vu.

    Can we expect the same?

    Umm... the name is bugged. You know as well as anyone that Meg said all weapons would be (L). Nice try though trying to get an UL item out of the bug.

    last time i checked you were not a dev. so dont answer for them.

    second, I dont even have one of the mentioned weapons, so I would not be getting any benefit either way.

    Third, I dont know what the hell meg said, if u notice i just made my account on this forum yesterday. and cant even manage to open the links to megs posts, i keep getting some NI Forum database error.

    So next time before you assume something have the facts, and feel free to not answer questions that are directed at dev's and not you.

    and can anybody please tell me what the hell is wrong with this forum why there are multiposts from meg for what appears to be the same thing with links but the links give errors. I even get errors when i post reply's on threads.

    The new NIP (from Helen Venture's training quest) is unlimited. The other weapons release in January are Limited. I can't speak to RockTropia's situation, but our issue is a typo on the item names of Limited weapons.

    And, friends, I apologize again for the forum issues. I've passed this over to Next Island management, and they are working to correct the problems. You can get Next Island information on the Facebook (Facebook.com/NextIsland) and on my blog (NextIsland.com/blog) in the meantime.

    Hmm... appears as though I was right.... Could it be because I pay attention to what's going on around here? And as I stated in my post.... "Meg said all weapons would be (L)". Dev or not if I've read a comment from a dev and that comment is going to answer someone's question then I will answer the question. Now you can ignore it and wait for THE EXACT SAME ANSWER at a later date and bitch and whinge aobut me replying to your OP.... Or.... You can accept the info and be glad that a member of the community was so quick to clarify something for you.

    menace, i do appreciate you telling us that they were always supposed to be L, but clearly raven didn't know that (nor did i) so your reply was quite rude.

    so anyhow... we are supposed to farm crystals for days, to get enough crystals for one click, which have a higher risk of failure than success, and for that we get a crummy weapon that isn't even good....

    sigh... i thought NI was finally going to take off...

    well now that i have heard it from the dev, i can now leave NI, the bps are rediculously expensive to craft for L items with no so good eco. I'll wait till NI descides to get finished.

    Now this is known, you can surely expect most of the crafters that were waiting on this info to leave. I hope yall lower the amounts of materials your asking for on those weapons bp's so they become reasonable to craft.

    So what is the plan to actually get players to play on NI? No UL gear drops, the bp's are way overpriced (meaning the cost to craft), Substantial Hofs are more rare than anywhere else, the mob spawns on greece are very small, and it seems unfinished, There isnt even a full set of armor for greece.

    Yes. I wonder too what is the story behind all weapons being L (not to mention the irrealistic crafting cost)... Did Mindfart forced that or NI team managed to come up with this very stupid decision?

    Well .. It greatly helps in the decision, that our whole soc will leave to another planet in 2 weeks.
