Shops can be quite expensive. Do you have stock of items to sell in the shop already? Otherwise, perhaps trading at Twin Peaks TP might be of interest to you, as that way you don't have the large expense to own a shop.

  3. I do have stock of some loot and mainly crafted items, which I expect to sell through the shop. Still since I am a newcomer, I appreciate any comment / advice.
Saw yesterday a shop in auction for 5600 PED. I that realistic?

I'm not sure what shops usually sell for, but 5600 doesn't sound too bad, considering that just a shopkeeper alone was about 4000 peds last time I looked.
Might be worth visiting the location to confirm it is a shop, not just a stall, which might have less items space.
Location can be important if you hope to sell to players passing by. Near a TP or in a busy shopping area more people might pass by than if your store is hidden away in a quiet place. But, if you offer good items or prices then people will make the trip even to a less busy location.

  5. Thanks for your generous advice. I do appreciate. Hope to find something. Will follow your advice and check before buying. Seems I was not aware this restriction you mention.

  6. at the moment there is a shop for sale in the auction. 6000 PED, which sounds not too bad, but the shop is at Sakura City. I agree with Burgerman, the location is essential.
I bought a shopping booth ( or stall) some time ago and I can tell you that the location where the booth / shop is located is of essence. If you plan to sell stuff for newbies the shop should be somewhere at Eudoria continent. For higher sophisticated stuff the shop can be elsewhere. Also you have to know for a shop you have to pay a monthly fee, depending on the location. The one at Sakura for instance costs 12 PEDs per month. A shopping booth is general free of charge, but the fee to the land owner.

My booth is located at Genesis HQ, so only people who know this shop came along. So you have to do some puplic relations work to announce it. Positive side effect, I have some regular buyers at my booth. They know my prices are good so they check often to see what is new, even without big announcments. And you have to take care about your shop. If it is not regular updated people will loose interest on it.

if you have more questions do not hesitate to ask

  7. actual there is a booth in the auction for 5000 PED starting bid (too much I would say).
Also a shop at Emerald lakes Mall for 15000PED, which sounds fair to me

  8. thanks for all the advice. I have learnt that location is important.
So I finally decided to take a shop in PA 1st floor, 12 S
Location is next to televator and 2nd to the main entrance.
Although it is a smaller shop, I think it is a good starting point.
Now it is time to understand what is best sold there
Thanks again for allthe helpful advice

  9. cool! Gratz! to you and welcome to a new shop owner:D

May I ask what you paid for it?

I think in PA mall you can nearly sell everything. Every beginner will be in PA, sooner or later, so I think you can sell low level guns / armour / equipment there.
    Public relations is of essence.
