Yep, that was a surprise too. This seems to be educational software with instructions for students and teachers, and with people screaming for help in the flood resulting from the busted dam you just bombed. In Germany games were indexed for much less, for example Beach Head also made in 1983. It got removed from the index in 2010.

Beach Head was my favourite game back then. One of the few games I felt the Electron Version was better than the Amstrad version.

(although the sound was better on the amstrad - the poor Elk basically emulated the hardware chip from the BBC and the consoles in software... iirc it wasn't really multi channel and had no volume control - coupla years ago I nerded out and read up tons on it - I was too young to understand in the 80s of course)

I'm really sorry. I wanted to record Entropia Universe beginners missions for a guide but the recording of the first was messed up by EU eating CPU like hell, the second was messed up by the "loot claimed by someone else" issue. I wanted to record EU wave events starting with beginners events but the Berycled Nest event simply doesn't start for me anymore. I wanted to record EU instances starting with beginners instances but the dialogue of The Gauntlet NPC always closes unexpectedly no matter which option I click. My support case about this was replied to after ~60 days and closed without any solution to the problem.

I'm really sorry but I just had to record more C64 stuff.

    Done nevertheless :)

Was one of my favourites too but I liked the 'unofficial successor' Raid Over Moscow even more:

There will be a full size remake of the C64, with working keybord and joystick. Still not buying a mini-PC limited to C64 emulation just because it's surrounded by a case replica when I can have an unlimited mini PC that can do everything incl. emulation for same prize :)

Wow that was great! They really did well with the sound effects in it!

  6. That first game video, javelin thrower in a sports arena, looked really cool.

Your imagination sort of compensates for pixelated figures and audience.

    I really like that.

Track & Field :) That was made in 1983, 36 years ago! Pixel art tends to age very well. I totally enjoy playing those classics, I probably couldn't play AAA 3D games of the 1990s, just check out Tombraider 1, one of the best-selling and best rated games of the mid 1990s, it looks a plays horrible :)

I played Tomb Raider at Win95. It was really breathtaking at that time. First female hero in a big world with unbelievable abilities and at least half a good story behind. This was one of the masterpieces of video games.

... or at least Entropia Universe itself.
