The table above is provided by the wiki and automatically updated with data added to the wiki.

For more figures and a graph please refer to the wiki: Calypso Land Deeds Revenues.

The Calypso Land Deeds wiki page is now featuring a tiny 'tool' to track the Revenues of Calypso Land Deeds.

It's quite easy to use. You click "Add record", use a date picker to pick the date when the revenues have been paid, enter the value of the revenue in a field, enter the amount of deeds generating these revenues, click 'Save'.

The 'tool' automatically calculates revenue per deed in PED as well as the projected % p.a. It also generates a basic graph to show the performance over time. Go have a look: Calypso Land Deeds Revenues.

It is planned to have more graphs when more data becomes available.

The latest revenue is also availabe as an RSS item: Calypso Land Deeds Latest Revenue RSS. Wiki can provide any kind of content in RSS Feeds/Items, if you need something specific for your website and don't know how to create feeds on the wiki just let us know.

Furthermore it can generate a snippet of info to be integrated in forums like you can see above. This is also not only available for EP but for any other forum. If you need something specific for your forum please let us know.

Any suggestions, bug reports, criticisim, contributions, etc. more than welcome.

3.50 PEDs...? You get more money sweating. No offense...

pretty hard to find 18% returns on a rl investment.
Slightly lower than I expected, but on par for what will be a strong future.

Could someone walk me through how the 18% is calculated

    3.5 * 52 = 182.
    1000 / 182 = 18.2.

I have to agree with narfi. 18.2% is not a bad return at all. The big question is whether the 3.5 PED weekly will be sustainable. But this does make me want to look into converting some of my in-game assets into deeds, actually.

    365 / 7 = 52.something * 3.5 to project from 'week' to year.

    That way you get 18.25%.

That does not sound bad indeed. But there are definitely investment in 'real world' which can be considered less risky, are regulated by laws and contracts, and have a similar performance. Closed-end funds investing in transport ships for example.

Also real world investments should have lower fees, can be free from currency risks depending on where you invest (and if not might apply a better exchange rate than MA does), can lead to tax deduction, etc. There are many aspects to consider when looking at it from an investment perspective.

I would rather compare it to shares of a soccer club fans buy to support their team no matter the performance of the shares.

Uhm, can anyone post or direct me to the current fees for depositing/withdrawing please?

    3% I think

It's the same for all methods? Can't find any info about it. :headscratch:

Withdrawing is 1%, but at least 100 PED.

Exchange rate for withdrawing is the one from the ECB, it says. But what is the exchange rate for non-Euro currencies? :headscratch:

And what is the exchange rate for depositing? :headscratch:

However, let's get that info on the wiki if we find it.

  10. I would say 18,22135 %

I was wrong, for credit card it is 3,5% (checked with my deposits) but maybe the bank gets something to. I got 965 PED for 100 dollar.

No idea about the other methods.

    you mean 1000 PED

Narfi might be able to look up what the exchange rate is for withdrawing, he has done it in the past.

It is my understanding that a bank transfer deposit doesn't have any fees, so if you are depositing investment size amounts you can do it without fees.
My withdrawal was over a year ago so no longer shows on my transaction history, and I have no interest in requesting my full history.

Well have send a support case to MA asking for the rates, I guess they have to tell me, right?

    But but but...

Shouldn't all this info be available somewhere? At least in some good hidden smallprint?

The little I got is from Support FAQ.

    I was trying to say:

The fee for withdrawing is 1% of the withdrawal's value, but at least 100 PED.

But yes, the minimum value for withdrawing is 1000 PED, withdrawing fee for that would be 100 PED, resulting in 10% of the withdrawal value being eaten up by the fee.

Well lets see if they answer my question and yes I think it should be available somewhere.
And the minimum of 100 PED is a lot.

It should and I believe there was some sort of rate table but... I believe I read it way before the 2009 crisis.
Google poped up this and this too.

There are some details in there but they're seriously outdated. It is my understanding that MA will let Banks charge whatever they want for transfer fees which can vary from 0% to 100% (citation needed) and some banks have a fixed rate. It all depends on country and bank so, I think you will have to overcome a few taboos and ask people to review their banks' small print and post how much they charge for transfers and withdrawals.

    MindArk bank info:
    • Receiving Bank: Danske Bank
    • Branch / Clearing: Göteborg City Företag / 1386
    • Account name:
      MindArk PE AB
      Jarntorget 8
      SE 413 04 Gothenburg
Checked the website of my bank and for payments in Euro they do not charge me anything if I do a bank transfer or if I receive one.

Checked some other Dutch banks and they all do a bank transfer to/from Sweden free of charge
