    Seems like this was a popular competition this time around :), always encouraging for the future! Even Talkerbot had a go but it's entries were rubbish, keep trying Talkerbot you may crack this talking thing one day!

    Initially Burgerman's entry " Scotty, this is NOT funny. Scotty......? " was in the lead, Star Trek jokes are always good but toward the end I think Nexus managed to pip him with the Dr. Who jest "The Doctor is caught in our secret Televator forcefield! He cannot move - he cannot move! Alert all units to intercept the Doctor... Alert all units to intercept the Doctor! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy...". I really should have been wearing my floppy hat for that one.

    So even though Nexus could not remember the word "EXTERMINATE" he wins this months 50 PED.

    Nexus, we need to meet in game, let me know when you are likely to be on-line.

    Thanks everyone for your entries, many did make me laugh, I hope you found them funny as well.

    Now what bizarre screenie can I post for April?

    Hey thanks Chela, wasn't expecting that :) I was sure many others would win it. Can't believe I forgot it was 'exterminate' and not destroy - lol. But then I haven't watch Dr Who since...:rolleyes:

    I was wondering whether we could vote instead of judging for this competition? However it may not be that good of an idea as well... :rolleyes: (I really liked theNoize's entry.. :D)

    I have thought about this in the past but came to the uncomfortable concussion that setting up voting or having a panel of judges would be too complicated and time consuming. Quick count shows 18 entries for the March contest, I don't fancy setting up a vote for all of those, don't even know if the forum can have that many items in a vote. Over to you on that one Phunksta :). A panel of judges might work but then there are problems if they enter the competition. Willing to discuss this, anyone got any ideas?

    I'm not sure if there is a limit on polls I'll go check...

    Ok there was - there isn't now!

    As for 'too many entries' a shortlist could be drawn up by Chela maybe (the judging part) then a vot on the shortlist?

    Either way I think these comps are fun as they are :)

    I honestly feel Anna should have won - her heart was so much in it; sorry Anna ;) I know I was a bit slow on the uptake regarding blueprints, but then I'd never been interested in crafting....

    The aim of the winning caption was to make Chela laugh, "for the person who's caption makes me laugh the most". I don't see how anyone else can vote or judge on this. The decision is fully Chela's to make.
    The caption competitions have always been fun, free, elegant competitions created and run by Chela, and I think everyone who has commented requesting or demanding the competition be changed should be ashamed of themselves.
    I hope Chela runs more competitions in the future, but after the rudeness of many comments in this thread I wouldn't blame him for not bothering.
