Christmas Gifts

The 3 xmas gifts were given out today. Can get them by logging into calypso from now till end of holidays.


1) The polar bear head can be worn.

2) The Julklapp is an empty container. You can use it to store thinsg inside.

3) There is also a Reindeer trophy head. That's a decorative display item.

Interesting, I got only the box and the head, but not the trophy - i guess there are some rules on who gets what?

got all 3 gifts w/o ever having possessed an apartment, LA, shop or such. So the trophy must be for something other.
Btw., if you are on Arkadia, no need to travel to Caly itself, FOMA does the job, too.

ah crappy crapness. I stayed on RT cause they said there would be presents. Didn't realise it was natives ONLY -_-

Does that mean that only native calypsians get presents if they are home for christmas? And non natives visiting wouldn't get anything?

update: from reading ND forum it sounds like this is the case.... still, I quite like that concept. ie that folks who go "home" for Christmas get presents. Like RL I guess or even echo's the Christmas legend about Joseph and Mary returning to their home City for the census thing.

Yep, unfortunately. I don't understand this, this makes no sense to me.

The planet I'm bound to get's a share of my money where ever I spend it, but cannot effort to 'send' me my gift to where ever I am?

To my knowledge it's similar with the Caly land deeds, to receive the pay-out you need to be on this special planet during pay-out-time. I can buy the deeds everywhere, but to collect my money I have to travel ... (this might be wrong, is from hear-say)

This makes no sense to me, other then being a cheap player-grabbing by Caly. And it makes me feel even more alienated to this planet.
