A few years ago after a LA round, the soc that won the rights to a particular LA destroyed the DNA on it right before the LA would be given back to MA (or something along those lines). Perhaps things changed in the meantime, but it has at least been possible to do this at some point. I agree, though. The dasps and corns are part of CND, and most likely will be sold with it. Otherwise the press releases would most likely not be so glamorous ;)
