    I believe that with their hive mentality and mind communication abilities that a dozen Foul are more than any puny tribe of mutants can handle.

    It seems you can still transfer all your troops and leave just 1, and then the next cycle you gain 49 troops.

    Needless to say there is some foul play going on again. :biggrin:

    Also, Pioneer armor appears to be adding 30 and not the stated 20 to defence.

    If the troop transfer thing is going to be fixed and bring another reset, could you please make it a total reset and wipe all villages? A reset like yesterday evening just means that those who log in first get to decimate enemies and gain large amounts of gold with next to no resistance, gaining an unfair and unbalanced advantage in the process.

    They didn't want to avoid it.. just reduce the number of troops that can be send with the "foul play" method

    Wtf?
    Why even call it foul play if It's implemented?

    I can agree it needed a balance before, but since the feature is still there.. It's not foul play in my opinion, we have great communication in the foul team everyone has their own role to play, and everyone in our team plays it very well.


    Everyone can send troops down to 1, I see other people do it, like GeorgeSkywalker for example.. (He's just the latest one I've seen doing this.)
    So seriously, everyone can do what some of the people in our team does, so why complain?

    So there are no such things as bugs because they are features that have been implemented, and exploits don't exist because it's only utilising features that have been implemented?

    To quote the play guide "On each cycle refresh, every village receives an automatic bonus of 1 turns, 100 gold and 1 troops. No advantages are given to a single village, no matter how big or small."

    Clearly that isn't the case, so either the guide is way off the mark or gaining 49 troops on the cycle after you have transferred all but 1 is a bug.


    You'd look a bit of a plank flaming somebody for pointing out something that is the complete opposite of the stated "rules".

    At least it was reduced from 250 to 50 this round. Since the admins left it at 50 instead of 5 or 1, you can't really say that this is an unintended feature anymore. - obviously they are aware of it and chose to leave it as it is.

    Pioneer armour

    Power = 20 * 125% (Molisk Nation Defense bonus) = 25

    If you have the first Defense Training Level (Adult), that's another 20% on top.





    The troop transfer thingie will be fixed asap, this module is a 3rd party add-on, not integrated in the "normal" conquest game addon, there is no configuration UI like for all the other settings.


    If you are a php coder with more than "script kiddie" experience, feel free to apply for an (unpaid) position in the EP coder team.

    There are some playing Foul tribe that don't agree how the safe haven protection is implemented.

    I am more in the opinion that once a village gets bellow 50 it should get into protection mode (the same way a player with less than a certain % of the opponent troops can't be attacked) with the following rules:

    A) The troop count would increase 5 per cycle up it reachs 50 (so for example it goes to 44 then 49 to finally 50)
    Why 5 ?
    Because that is how much a player will gain if he uses the option to recruit new troops when he start with his 500
    (it is a big advantadge since to that normal player such action would cost him 3 cycles and the protected player would get it for free)

    B) If a player transfers troops to somebody else leting himself end with less than 50 troops he will not enter safe haven protection (so he will only start gaining 1 troop per turn) only if he gets attacked and loose will it be granted (unless he ends with 0 troops after battle in which case C) applies).

    C) If some player gets attacked and looses all troops he has then lost the village and will not be able to rejoin with another village for 48 (or more) hours (his village is erased from the map)

    D) Safe haven doesn't protect from vendetta counter attacks;
    with vendetta counter attack being an attack in response to a previous attack in a period of 24 hours (arround this 18-36 hours) in which the player now on safe mode protection did one the following:
    1) made more than 1 attack
    2) wan the battle and gain more gold than what is received in a certain stipulated number of cycles (I would say 10)
    3) killed more than 30% of the defenders troops.

    E) Once in safe haven protection he can't take new offensive actions (can do vendetta but I doubt that anybody would do it with benefits for himself), can't transfer troops or gold, can't buy weapons or sell armor.


    All numbers can be subject to further balance
    (for example safe haven might trigger at higher values like the before 250, and the increase be higher than 5 per cycle)

    An additional check has been implemented, to prevent players from sending troops from within their minimum population.

    Minimum population has been restored to it's old value (50% of initial population), troop counts below 250 will be restored to 250 in the course of the next cycle.

    I have received a request from Akoz, to be moved from the Foul tribe to the Feffoid tribe.

    If one of you has objections about the transfer (after all, Akoz may know things from the private Foul subforum), i will not move him, but as the feffs are currently the weakest tribe this may bring some balance back to the conquest game.

    Please note that this is a "one time" thingie, and only considered because of the current balancing issues - in general, "hopping" between tribes is not possible.

    Possible objections should be posted here within the next 3 hours.
