Well finally we have CP back. IT looks like we need a few more updates before all is functional there but at leat it is back. Price has gone up as well. a round trip used to cost me around 30 ped. Now it is up to a steap 50 (25 one way). They announced it is temporary. I wonder if they will also kill the teleport down and replace it by pilots. Anyhow the main question (see poll) is will you go there or not?
I'll go there once MA lets me log in but I am not impressed with the price of going there. If I understand it correctly its 25 there and back so its a extra cost of atleast 20-25peds roundtrip compared to before and at the moment there is no "non exploitable" auctioneer there so you gotta go to planetside or sell to someone buying bulks for below markup to sustain hunting. That is like a nerf to me. PS. With "non exploitable auctioneer" I mean there is 1 under the ground at CP but he wants transport fee's so I hope thats just a bug and not a future feature for CP auctions
Im going back there, but not untill everything is fixed. Like Knuckles I'm not kean of paying that much to go up and down either! And I can't see why it should cost us more now than it used to be! Anyways, I will be back - but since we can't tell when MA has fixed things, I can't tell when !
Forgot to add that the main reason I like CP is that most of the people who hate me has too low skills to sustain hunting up there so it should mean I wont be banned for a bullshit reason again
Because MA dont engage brain for more than 2 seconds and always go to default. they set that as the price for CND so didnt spend a nano second considering the cost for CP used to be different. or, being more charitable, its to keep the numbers down a little. its madder than a box of frogs up here, if it were half the price it would be insane.
The globals make CP more fun, it has a psychological effect for sure. When I was doing tons of peds a day up there I used to get PM's like "wow you are spamming and earning tons right?" because I had 12-18globals a day in average for quite a while after I had a 25,3k Aurli but in reality I was bleeding peds pretty fast and was losing about 3k-7k peds a month in average and up to 1400ped a day on bullshit days CP is also one of the prime examples on how unfair it can feel sometimes when you are killing 2-3x faster than noob with HL8 and yet the noob gets the bigger hofs or globals while you get 50pedders. Its happened quite often that I have shot 1000peds in barely 1,5hour for only 200-250ped of globals which isnt nearly enough for break even while noob spending 400ped in same period of time has 200-250ped tt of globals
well for me one of the reasons for going to CP was that for my SOC it was kind of a groupouting s most people in my SOC can not handle the aurli on their own. Also the price ot go up was around 20 ped most of the time and most important you did not have to wait to go down. Just jump in the TP pay 10 ped and get it over with. Now most has probably remained the same (loot we do not know yet) except for the cost. We usually stayed up for about 20 days. That costs 50 ped now. that is pretty steep to me
