Developer's Note We we're really working down to the wire with the stuff that we could get into this VU, but we feel like we're moving in the right direction (although not as much content as we wanted), any and all feedback about this VU is welcome, please chat about it in our Discord or post it up on our Forums. We're already planning some adjustments for the Mini Patch. New Additions - New Missions -- Byrd Terminal - Now Accepting All Donations | a simple mission to spawn a group of Byg Byrds for a new recipe turn in should now be available. --- There are 3 new combine recipes, one of the is used for the Byrd Terminal, you can get the information from an NPC at Zorra's new base (between Rookie TP and A.R.C. Staging). - Hunter's Cavern -- Hunter's Cavern is a new experimental hunting area on Cyrene. There's a small entry fee to prove to the Zekkonian's that YOU aspire to be a master hunter. -- There are currently 3 levels available: --- Low level Paneleons --- Mid level Tide Claws --- High level Zeladoths -- All levels have a cluster of various creatures with lower levels of agression and pre-set auto loot for all players. -- Within the area you'll have various NPCs to chat with and limited terminals. -- There are a few achievements to earn and some additional story for the Zekkonians, as well as a new way to hunt some of the popular mobs on Cyrene. -- You can try out this hunting area by heading to Zorra's new base (between Rookie TP and A.R.C. Staging). - Turrelia Wave Spawn -- After several adjustments from the last VU, this wavespawn is ready for players. -- Reduced HP / Damage from higher level waves and adjusted loot lists. -- The purpose of this wave spawn is to allow players to collect Turrelion Essence, which can be used to upgrade the Turrelion Outerwear and Settler clothing sets to have non-combat buffs. -- You can join a group just west of the Ice Plateau TP. - Mentors and Disciples -- Disciple Armor + P.I.G.V. | Any and all disciples that graduate on Cyrene should now be able to acquire this armor correctly, we're still working on the details with MindArk about replacing the armor for players who graduated during the last VU. - Booths -- Kris has plans for the current booths on Cyrene that he's waiting for final confirmation from MindArk about, but if there are any outstanding merchants that you'd like to make sure that he notices please post them up on the Forums or mention it in the Discord server. Changes - The spear thrusters should now be able to be interacted with on planet. - All "seek and find" items should have no issue being interacted with on planet. - Quality of life changes for "Find the Rifts" mission. - The new Cyrene load screens should now work correctly. - Fixed various typographical and grammatical errors in items and missions. - Adjusted Zeladoth spawns to make sure all maturities are included within separate spawn areas. - All defunct society terminals should now be removed. Information - Planet Cyrene still does not yet have access to the Codex, to add in Cyrene mobs, more updates to come as we have them. That being said we plan to give Cyrene players ample time to know when the Codex will be implemented as well as the information that not all missions will be automatically added into the codex. There are several new mobs ready that will be added specifically for the Codex. Known Issues - The Hub Arenas and Proving Grounds are currently not accepting entry tokens nor are they awarding tokens for kills. This is is still not fixed by MindArk and there is currently no ETA. - The culmination for the chain mission for the Ryvox the Cypher is currently not implemented. - Support weapons are not currently working properly, this is a platform issue. - All Cyrene vehicles (P.I.G.V., Spear, Lancer, Dragonfly) have default sounds, this will be addressed in a future patch. - Some Quality Ratings information in blueprint book: A.R.C. is incorrect, and this issue is still being looked into. - A supplementary mission for Rank 5 of Brown Beetles to give proper mission rewards is not working correctly and will be fixed in a future VU. Please give RNGesus some time to ensure all items reach their intended recipients and MindArk time to make sure that all missions are activated. Source
This actually sounds (vaguely interesting) or at least I get a very real sense that someone is trying hard here. - All Cyrene vehicles (P.I.G.V., Spear, Lancer, Dragonfly) have default sounds, this will be addressed in a future patch. I'm starting to wonder if I should offer to try and fix this for free... not that I know anything really about ce2 development... but one finds oneself thinking, "how hard can it possibly be?" Wistrel
