    Hey guys,

I just thought I would let you know that for a limited time I am helping new guild members start out; Though I only have enough resource for about 100 new guild members as I have recently invested $ 2,000 USD to buy 200,000 ZEN of which I have invested into level 60 endgame epic gear for 20 of the 5 classes available:

    Control Wizard,
    Devoted Cleric,
    Guardian Fighter,
    Trickster Rogue &
    Great Weapon Fighter

They will soon be releasing their first free expansion also.
    This includes the release of new content areas known as The Fae Wilds;
    And new classes, stay tuned.

The game is 100% free to play and can be downloaded at:

  6. been playing for a few days. Might have to join up with you in game someday. Look for Moira Mesh.

  7. Hi Mastermesh,

Feel free to add me to your friends list in game :)

  8. never figured out how to do the mailbox yet... When I try to put your contact info in the email box via copy/paste it didn't work well.. think we might be on different server shards? I read that shards will be joined together later on when game is out of beta.

Finally reached level 15 so now I'm starting on my first foundry quest creation. :) ;) Might post info about it here when complete (going to take a while since I'm making it fairly complex.)

Are you guys still playing NEVERWINTER?

Obie and I started playing a couple of weeks ago and we're really enjoying ourselves. Obie is a Level 48 Control Wizard (of course) and I'm a Level 36 (almost 37) Devoted Cleric (Healer) and doing my best to catch up with Obie.

We did the "Indris" quest by ourselves, which they state should be a 5-party team, and while it took us hours (it's quite lengthy), we had to get creative to get through it all, but we did it. It was WAY intense, but it was the best quest we've ever done.

Let us know if you're all still playing and if you're looking for more members, or if anyone is interested in connecting, because Obie was going to start a new Guild (EU Refugees). :tongueout:

I've played other Perfect World games, but I like this one the best so far.

  11. I quit but might re-join. For a few months there I was playing Neverwinter, Entropia, SWTOR, and DC Universe all at the same time with a few hours here and there in each...

D&D universe/theme in Neverwinter got me a little depressed though since it's all doom and gloom in dungeons. It's ok for a time or two wandering through a dungeon but gets old fast... much darker game in theme than a lot of other mmos. Kinda makes me glad I never got too much in to pen and paper d&d and focused more on superhero/ninja type games back then like Heroes Unlimited and Ninjas and Superspies.

SWTOR got old because it was highly unrealistic as every in game cinematic scene doesn't pull the avatars into an instance, so you see all these avatars with their faces against the wall just standing there as they go through those cinematics - kinda funny the first few times you see it but horribly unrealistic after 3 or more times of seeing it.

DC Universe is ok for a while since you get to fly all over the place, but it is on an older game engine and it's a little boring as you can solo all the missions pretty much if you have enough time to redo them over and over til you beat them since the instances are fairly empty spaces with the enemies showing up in same spot over and over. Raids are kinda fun though. I might have to reinstall this one instead of nw now that I've written all this now that I'm thinking about it, lol.

There was a marvel mmo I played a while too but I didn't like it too much since it was 3rd person perspective that was a lot like Diablo 2, so it wasn't as personal of an experience, and it used way too much cpu/ram vs the other mmos.

Oh, don't want to spam, but just logged in to dcu in I don't know how long and found out there's now some sort of a recruiting thing on there... Here's my affiliate link for that if you want to try it out: https://recruit.soe.com/recruit/smlanding.action?iId=32OZRAOYA84LP7165CT3&gamecode=DCUO

It'll be nice when Mindark gets their affiliate thing set up in another couple of years...

  12. Hi!

Sorry I have been in Planet Explorers mainly as of late.
I may look into playing a few lvl 60 instances later when you guys are ready for dungeon crawls @ 60 :)

    My main is Viperstrike@viperstrike2611 I think ...
Checking in a moment, downloading updates now while I break for a pause from P.E :)

Also looking to play Elder Scrolls Online soon too, but not in the first few weeks or even month.
I will wait like with all good newly launched online games for the shitstorm to pass
and the first round of bugs to be fixed ;)

  13. Yep ok, it is Viperstrike@viperstrike2611
Feel free to add me, here are my stats for when the time comes to do dungeon crawls ;)

I think I need to reslot my gems on equipment, it looks like in a past update they all came out ?
And new artifact slots, damn have I been away that long from the game hehe

Not sure how we will do the guild thing though, I will consider it.
Some friends in my own guild that I am co-leader of - Ghost Clan Legacy - so it might be hard.

  14. It seems they did a rebalance on the slots since I last played the game seriously.
Looks like my gear score should come out around 16k once they are all slotted again.
And ofc the stats should be more balanced, defense/deflect/regen/etc

Hey YOU ... next time Obie and I are in the game we'll add you. It would be nice to get together to do some dungeon stuff. However, Obie and I are working hard to get me to Level 60 ... I'm only 3 levels plus a few bars left to go, but we're doing everything we can to make it happen. It doesn't seem like all the quests have been showing up for me as they should, so Obie has been sharing his quests with me ... He's already Level 60.

Catch up with you soon ... we really ARE enjoying this game and are amazed at the detail and how well they put everything together, although this past week, including last night, we ended up experiencing the "server not responding" issue. It's only happened to us twice and not sure what the deal is, but we really like the game.

We're not in a guild and not sure what we're going to do about it yet, still sitting on that one.

    Talk soon.

  16. Hiya, sounds good and grats on almost 60 *grins*
Some of the game options that open up at 60 are quite nice. Gear & dungeon wise :)

Will make sure I make some more time available for NW.

How did you like the storyline ?
I heard that they refined it somewhat ... It was already pretty amazing when I played to 60. I think that is what kept me going so full on with NW, it just sucked you right in and kept you wanting to do the next piece lol

I sent a friend request to you Viper, so next time you're in the game you should get it. Obie will do the same thing next time he's in. I have to get the info from the others so I can add them too. There's a channel on the MSM TeamSpeak server as well for Neverwinter players, so let me know if you want the information.

Here's what I think of Neverwinter:
    • First and foremost, I'm sending a personal letter to the developers because they've done an amazing job with EVERYthing
    • Yes, I LOVE the storyline, and that was a huge part of keeping us playing, but ...
    • The design details and the thinking that went into creating the quests that were not just go kill a gazillion of this and that and come back for a reward, it was amazing to following the storyline that sent you to so many places where you had to collect things, light things on fire, explode this, take out the crystals, deal with some crazy-ass bitch who goes ballistic if she doesn't get her meds while you lead her to doctors or something who can cure her (yes, I'm talking about Dorthea, and if you weren't aware or weren't ready, or weren't even near Dorthea to click F to give her the med she required while you were fighting off several creatures, holy SHIT ... she was worse than a whole battalion of them  )
    • I not only love the quests, I love that you get supplies, armor, and other things along the way that you actually need and use, and this game is a real "play for free" game, and you can go all the way to Level 60 doing so without having to put any money in, but ...
    • I have been a Perfect World player for years, starting with Perfect World itself, then Battle of the Immortals, then War of the Immortals, and now Neverwinter, and I love Neverwinter the best, and ...
    • While you don't have to put money into the game, I had a total of 9698 ZEN collected from all my characters in the other games and the devs transferred it to my main character in Neverwinter ... no fee, no nothing, just an accommodation ... they aren't stupid
    • The quest designers are phenomenal - love the crypts, the temples, the tombs, the underground, and the dungeons
    • I like that there's a quest line that you can follow so that you don't waste a lot of time, but between quests you can explore
    • I also like that you can double-click on a place on the map and it will create a quest line for you to follow, like getting back to a travel gate
    • The scenery designers are phenomenal - the pure thought that went into making it an adventure in and of itself is amazing
    • Love the Neverwinter Commoners walking around and interacting in the environment, the Guards in some places who actually fight against creatures just outside the Fort, and talking NPCs ... the game is VERY interactive and animated, love it
    • I love that we get Companions to fight with us and that we can send them free to training and that they progress as well
    • I love that we get Mounts that we can ride to get to places quicker
    • I love the skills your character can achieve at different levels, and how you can progress them and change them out depending on what the needs are for the type of activity you're doing
    • The only thing I wish, was that you could have more "Encounter" and other slots to include additional skills
    • I like that when you get a team together, you can choose the type of characters you like so that you have all bases covered, from meat shield and heavy hitter/defender, to other major damage dealers, to Wizards who do phenomenal things, to Clerics who keep (or try to keep) everyone healed and use powers that enhance the others in the team - I only wish we could team more than 5
    • I also love that you can contact a GM in the game if you run into an issue, and they actually take care of you rather quickly
    • What can I say, the customer service is amazing
The game is very addicting, and Obie and I are having a great time. As a writer and one who loves writing stories, they really did an amazing job putting this game together, and they're still working on it as you can see.

For us, this game has it all ... engaging game-play, awesome storyline, quests that are amazing, and SO many features that keep you involved and really enjoying the experience. My Devoted Cleric (Healer) is the highest level character, but I'm also progressing a Wizard as well and love playing her. I changed the names, so the Cleric is MindStar, and the Wizard is MagicStar ... easy to remember and fits. My companions are Wizards too, and it doesn't hurt to have a Level 60 kick-ass Wizard watching your 6 either. :tongueout:

I'll post some pics when I figure out how to clear my screen. Obie told me what worked for him but it doesn't for me.

In the meantime, here's my Character screen so you can see what I've done so far. I have some things to add, but right now the server seems to be unavailable again. I'm 5-3/4 bars away from 57, so not TOO far from 60, and a pic of my current companion (MagicMan) who shows that he's only Level 15, which is as high as he can go without upgrading, but he still has great skills to assist until I can upgrade him.

    MagicMan-MindStarsCompanion.png

I might consider doing a respec once I reach Level 60 now that I know more, but there's still more to learn in order to be the most efficient of your class that you can be, but then you can always swap out skills to fit your needs when you do team stuff.

OMG ... I also love the unsuspecting traps that cause you to lose HP, and how funny it is that the creatures trash talk when you engage them in combat. I also like that the NPCs talk and tell you the storyline within an instance or quest at each level so that you don't have to read it all, but then there are times when you have to read stuff too.

There's just SO much going on that keeps you involved and really enjoying the experience, but it also makes you think about the game when you're not in it as well, and those developers absolutely employed social psychology in a lot of ways ... my hats off to them for sure.

Neverwinter is going through an update right now, so that's why the server isn't available, but next time I get into the game, I'll see if I can do a little video of all of the fun emotes that we have ... they're awesome.
