A little (pregnant) birdie told me that Blizzard has opened up a beta for Diablo 3.

If, like us, you are looking forward to the game, you now have a chance to try it out. This weekend you can participate in the Open Beta for Diablo 3, and play a character up to level 13.

    From their website:

Already finished his part of the story with my witch doctor ^^

EDIT: And it sucks that it's being released 2 weeks before my final exams D:

  3. tried it for 40 min before i was bored. Guess I am just not into this kinda thing . was expecting more as people were saying it would compete with EU on an RCE level.

  4. Well I pre-ordered a few copies of the Collector's Edition version. I wasn't sure if I was going to open one and play, but after beta weekend I can safely say I will.

While this game and its ultra-linear game-structuring missions likely won't hold one's attention as long as EU, killing critters in order to GAIN in-world currency while skilling, instead of losing it, will be a refreshing breather.

Now to pick a class... ... ............*watches D3 videos*... ... ..............darn, I'm not so good with this linear thing.

  5. give it a year... maybe two and the whole game will drop in price by about half in retail stores... may even be bundled with 1 and 2 if they keep servers up on those?...

I'd think about it but honestly don't have enough time to really get in to it right now.

d2 was fun, but it got old killing the same big bosses over and over again and again after you do it so many times. In d2 once you got past like level 60 things just got boring as hell. Still hard to believe that at one point in time I had a level 89 character, lol.
