tmeh, i dont think any amount of change will fix that place and stop all the brown nosing and whining that goes on hiding any real constructive criticism there. thats why i barely use ef anymore and use ep instead besides ep is the first original multi planet forum :p
Personally I find it interesting, that it's been announced when someone asks, right after our forum launced ... Personally I haven't read about this before - then again, I have not really been that active on EF lately. But remember, this is not a popularity contest and I'm sure both forums (all forums for EU) can ad different values!
ah ok :) but as I said, this is not a popularity contest (not from here, that is) - we can hardly compete with EF and we wont try to. As said we bought the domain name for this forum years back ... so it's been cooking for quite some time ;)
I agree its not an popularity contest and I dont think any of us EF staff mind the 'competition', at all. Im here aint I? :) I just found the comment a bit strange, as if it was a result of EP launching that EF was going to accommodate all EU users. Its funny if you really didnt think 711's thought of that before now, hehe. There's no rabbid smiley *sob*
You are right, Skam - I changed my wordings. It could easily be misunderstood. And I do not think anyone from EF (or anywhere else for that matter) mind a new forum. I would say with all these players, there should be 'members' for all of us and also, personally, I'm a member of it all just because they are all different and I find that interesting ;) WHICH is why I say it's not a popularity contest - this was not added at any forum-holder but for the community to understand.
I don't like it when forums grow too big, it becomes hard to keep up, without browsing for 6 hours every day.
