Entropia Univerese gets banking licence

Just discovered this article and at first couldn't believe it - nearly dropped my cup of tea...

Mmmm - I've been wondering about the 'interest-bearing' aspect as well; such as, in what will MA be investing depositor's money, to generate the revenue to be able to pay any interest? In light of what's happened to the banking world in general lately, I can't think of anything that's safe.
It's also strange that nothing yet is mentioned about this on FPC's home-page, although it is covered on MA's official site...

 

Agreed... Maybe this also tied-up some loose ends with the 'virtual banking licences' that were offered and sold to participants as well.

 

Ha, ha! This could get funny - lol. As I understand it, participants who bought the virtual banks (:D) gained virtual banking licences to be able to run and operate them in the realms of EU, but they wouldn't have had official 'real world' banking licences as they wouldn't have had real world bank status. I know that didn't mkae much sense...
