The comments say everything, be it on mmohuts or "the other forum". The usual PR crap and a lot of "u dont say ?" stuff...so boring. Nothing said at all. https://mmohuts.com/news/entropia-universe-15-year-anniversary-interview/ http://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/f...tropia-Universe-15-Year-Anniversary-Interview
This does read a bit like "sure yeh we'd love to do something but have no development resource. So you know,...? we might like,... have a hunting event or something..., maybe with some re-stat'ed loot as prizes... y'know? I mean, like... so we don't have to create anything new".
I was really sceptical regarding Henrik Nel's qualification for running MindArk but the 2 interviews completely changed my mind. It's a perfect match. Absolutely perfect at completely non-sensical PR drivel which is almost all MindArks corporate identity is all about.
It's also always weird to read how they translate a disjunct set of gameplay features, a lack of purpose and lack of endgame and the most bizarre setting chop suey into "Entropia Universe does not dictate how to play and offers a near-limitless amount of activities" and is "one of very few true open-ended games".
"Our community is very important, as you say. We still have players that have been active since the launch on day 1 fifteen years ago. The average player spends more than two hours in the game during every play session" You confirm that you do not at all give a fuck about anything "community" by measuring community by time per play session... Ah... guess I'll be off for some time again, contemplating the times when community was not just a marketing term and no crypto ICO scam around every corner.
Well it's basically some "for sale" threads on PCF and us repetitively taking the piss over here now right? ;)
