The warp drive is already on the equus ship?
  2. Its will be included repairable but that warp drives will not suit to use in motherships and privatiers.
If you collector not means you will pay insane sum for something who rarer. Even collectors have some boundries.

I choose to save more peds on cristmas, somehow feeling what mindark will serve more toys to play ingame but if that would be imperium mothership for 500k peds i wont bid on that too.

    Where was this info posted?
  4. There are and there always will be people that dont care for 5.000$ spent on an ingame item.
    np with that.
But Entropia isnt Star Citizen and JBK might realize that sooner or later...
If he doesnt make gazzillion PEDs with transporting. ;)

An investment ? You believe there wil be someone offering 8.000$ for it one day ? Those days are gone.

Entropia stopped growing long ago. Entropia trys to be everything else, but not Entropia itself anymore.
MA "lost" the summary. MA "lost" all of its creative employees. MA lost "faith". Thats whats left of this money laundering system, that we all still adore...more or less.

MA was choosing the amount of 25 "wisely"...there simply arent more potential buyers around then that.
Akoz and his investorfriends could buy all remaining 24...but there is no hope on reselling them. Chances are high this "new system" will be abandoned just like "old" Taming, Hangars... (feel free to read my blog)

    Bridge Investment avatars anyone ?

Just because items like ML35 or Jungle Stalker keep their price-tag (more or less) since around 2004, doesnt mean this can be continued forever.
Again, there are and there always will be people that dont care for 5.000$ spent on an ingame item.
No matter how much/less info they gathered about the "MMO" before.

It worked with motherships and stuff, but I still feel sorry for (laugh at) all the people involved into all the bank (pawn shop) trades. Jesus.

I feel sorry for the planet partners flagellated by MindArk all too often, tied to NDAs that do not allow "clear answers" now and then.

I feel sorry for all CLD owners, not beeing able to make decisions about the promised land management and the so called political system. (feel free to read my blog)

I would feel sorry for everyone leveling their pet to lvl 7, waiting patiently for the final arrival of taming Stage 2, MindArk putitng it on hold once again. You know it happened several times before (with other systems and professions as well) and there would be nothing you could do about it.

But Id agree, if you have the $ and dont care...MA is very good at draining them of you.

RAZER Custom title ... uh ...

  7. I can't see category one buyers really being part of the plan. The weight restriction effectively requires that you leave all your gear on planet

I don't understand the weight numbers. 100kg and the speed is reduced. 150kg cargo and cockpit (two different cargo holds?) and warp is disabled. What happens if an Equus pirate shoots down a privateer full of dung (cargo - no disrespect to the actual people on board)?
Other people have questioned the timing - a year end chance for MA to boost its financial report.

I smell that dung prices may increase (finally....)

Here's a comparison of the stats of a privateer and the new ship (courtesy of SKY on PCF). I highlit the differences:

The weight restrictions means that these new ships wouldn't replace mother ships, as they make it virtually impossible to be used for interplanetary travel if you're moving from one planet to another and want to take your stuff with you. It's basically a fast people-transport vehicle, and not intended for cargo.

The real value of these in the long run will greatly depend on the implementation of space missions. If they'd yield lots of loot, the weight limit of these ships would fast be exceeded.
  11. You cant even carry what I would consider normal gear without screwing up the speed and killing the warp function.
  12. Yes my dry weight is around 193kgs and thus wouldn't be able to use it without unloading my basic gear. An other big problem here is that yes you will need to unload to use it, but the issue is that to do this, I would then need to remap all my items to the keyboard desktop after using it.

This was my feeling too but it sounds like there is stuff going on at lvl 5 and 7 now so I guess that is ok. I won't go past that on speculation though ;) With MA at the helm that would be foolish.

As for these ships. My guess is some people asked for them and didn't care about price tag so there are a handful of sales for people who just want and have cash to burn. I don't think there will be sales for all 25 though.

One thing I DO note about them though is that they have a small edge on speed. This means they can run away from pirates then go to warp if they are on the ball. I guess this makes them very difficult to loot.

  14. Use additional Strafe on non Equus Quad = great Speed Boost

Other users might recommend additional speedhacks, aimbots and macros to do something about Equus Quads. -_-

    You decide xD

    Nice ;-)
Although I'm still astonished about all the noise in Space ;-) Usually one shouldn't hear something. It's damn silent in Space.

I asked my friend Anhithe (he owns VirtualSense and the Yamato mothership) if he purchased the craft and he said yes, so if I'm so inclined, I'm sure he would let me take her for a space spin. I actually like the noise, it's exciting, but then that's me.

I like the noise too and I'm glad it is back. Firefly made a nice point but a point is a point, it isn't fun. I seem to remember there was quite a cool noise during warp on the moships? Looks like they didn't bring that back yet... :(

question is whether the rest will be sold?
