    The disappearance of the dislike count was caused by a group of creators complaining about it because they felt harassed by the dislikes...

    The lastest in this story is ranking of videos in the YT Studio backend. That ranking shows the last 10 videos you've uploaded ranked against each other depending on performance. But a group of creators complained because they felt stressed by seeing their videos ranked like that. So YT will probably remove that too...

    It's highly disturbing... it reminds me when someone told me their wife was a teacher and couldn't use red pens any more for marking, because it was perceived too negative. Also scores were not a thing, no 8/10 etc, just encouraging remarks in case one child were to compare their scores to another and get disheartened. As I understand it this thing has been going on for some time now. The troubling thing is that the kids enter the read world having never "failed" so reality is going to hurt like smacking your head on concrete. A disturbing thought is that maybe this is already happening and the result is that they are being pandered to e.g. by google obfuscating dislike stats to avoid offense.

    Terrifying...



    I've also seen examples of google age restricting news report videos (effectively making it so they can't be seen) on claims of violent content, where the creators claim there is nothing of the sort in the video.

    We almost have 1000 longplays. ONE THOUSAND. We will certainly pass this milestone later this month. It's the best time to contribute a longplay to our little project :) It's easy. Short little indie adventure from Adventure Jam 2022 maybe?

    Needless to say we've passed this goal and the rush for 1000 was a great success that took us to ~1030 already :) We are now not a small longplay channel anymore but at least medium sized.

    But we still need more, more longplay, more boss fights but especially more Entropia content. If you have any or want to record any please get in touch!

    Here's #1000 btw, Nightmare Frames, a great point-and-click adventure with 95% Steam rating released in June, recorded by @DahliaGray:

    Friends! Another call for videos! Longplays or boss fights. Of which we currently have the already awesome number of ~2500 videos on our channel. We want moar. If you can imagine to record longplay or boss fight videos please get in touch.
