Planet Toulan: Entropia Universe welcomes Planet Toulan!

I agree, the weapons do indeed look very impressive. I'm looking forward to having some time to explore in the next week

 

That was me, Spawn and I have to admit I was wrong.
I was there yesterday. I would describe it as "Beta". All in all relatively bug-free.

Some infos:

You can land there with a spaceship in a limited area. Outside of this area vehicles are not allowed. Except of one area in the desert SW ... at least I found only this one. And this is probably a bug. TP chips do work properly as we could see in Jenny Ferr's stream.

You must fly east to reach Toulan, not north. Flying there from Calypso with a Quad took us nearly an hour. MA put Toulan really in the darkest corner of the universe far away from civilization. To bad for Beladcom. Toulan is a stepchild right from it's start.

It seems to be one server only. A very tiny planet. But okay ... you have to run and swim. As far as I know 5 teleporters. Took me ~3 hours including slice some mobs.

Beladcom offer some nice unique designs ... buildings, terminals and items. They have to learn a bit about texturing 3D content. Many textures are a bit rough.

They have "wheather" ... some fog and rain in the PvP area in the south. One day-and-night-cicle goes for several hours.

I found two working mission brokers. And several NPC who will probably become working mission brokers one day.

No restrictions for female clothing wich makes me wonder where the "arabian" aspects are. (No camels to ride and no burkas to wear too.) I mean, how will they build up an arabian community or even attract arabian colonists if they don't care for some basic local rules? But okay, it's their job.

During the short time we had at the arrival area (Citadel) we didn't see any Toulan Offical.

All in all nothing special there. To bad: I am afraid Beladcom isn't tough enough to talk a bit harder with MA. (Even Akoz and Neverdie got problems with the setup of Monria and Rocktropia.)

I bought some of the pretty TT items (Aladin's lamp), grabbed my sister and flew back to Calypso. A nice straw fire.

 

Ya, lets hope this planet wasnt created only to introduce 5 "new" items to the so called "universe". xP

 

At least Beladcom found out how to add weather effects...that MA promised long ago. Weather effects that even affect equipment...I heard its developed on paper already... ;D

Cyrene also has some nice designed places and buildings...so has Calypso and RT. All without any function. Useless, but nicely designed. Boring.

On Arkadia there was this...Bar at the cliffs, with an NPC in it. Somehow cool. But useless. Just like the raceway.

All PPs should create one giant planet together. Abandon this bugged thing called "space", remove the vehicles from the 80s and "pimp daddys racecar" and finally introduce taming. Back to the roots of the original storyline. ;)

Only the beginning of Cyrene and its story...with its giant bugs *lol*...choosing races to join...felt somehow overwhelming. And it was only text and some screenshots at that time. But it feels like nothing of it is left. (but hey, its still the softlaunch, right) -_-

I am an explorer. Even the empty town of Minopolis was worth a visit, nearly every time I logged in. All the empty buildings, with no use. But it had soul. Then minopolis got deleted, because of lazy, incompetent MA. Hell, I even "enjoyed" the so called time travel on NI hunting cyclopes for 1 hour. Other then that, NI was an epic fail to me. The swords and axes from NI rust in storage.

Visiting the Sissipahaw Water Treatment Facility on Calypso felt dull from the beginning. Nice design, but nothing else to do. Boring. The Nymphtown Water Supply had no use as well. But it had soul.

In todays "universe" we are surrounded by greek mythology here and there. Arabic nights. Everything more or less half ready. Since years. Alienated universe ? Diversity ? Rock'n Roll ! ;O

Whereever the originality went, whatever happened to the mature MMO aspect of this idea, Im here.
And I wonder.

From what I have seen and heard, this planet looks and feels amazing. Welcome to the verse!

 

Yes, I like all the empty homes as of this point...remember this is a beta version, so I'm homing/guessing that in the future these could be shops and/or homes.

 

Let's say it clearly: Toulan was my last hope to improve Entropia Universe. It failed completely. Or with other words: MA failed again completely.

Sorry to say, but for a few here it was a fail to start even before it was release..so please live with it...remember, EU to you and others are just a failure and not sure why you are even here..

They don't found it it out really. The weather at Toulan isn't dynamic. It's static. Wich means you got rain at the PvP area in the south. And you will have it all the time you are there. Thats it.

 

Forget it, Alien. It's - so far - not worth a visit
Small mobs only, no clue if mining is good. Special items? Dunno.
You may visit Toulan if you are interested in a standard "Calypso-like-world".
Nothing special there

 

This is not about who is right or who is wrong.

This is about people who pretend to love what they SEE.
People that dont want to hear other opinions, as they take it as personal attack if you dont agree with them.

They wish we were gone (Spawn). They claim we have depressions and that it would probably be better killing ourselfs (OZTwo) and they claim that you need to function properly in order to enjoy this "universe". (AxeMurderer). They say we are fighting our beloved product, trying to destroy it via bad PR. They say we are the problem.

These people also havent digged as deep as others did or they simply closed their eyes everytime bad news entered the net. Then the say it is "only" the past and that we should focus on the future (again and again). They were always full of hope. This way they maybe cant even understand how we actually feel about our beloved product. As soon as they hear "Lazy-MindArk-Mafia" they scream in anger, calling us liers, winers and bitter, hoping that we are only deperessed, alcoholic gamblers, like everyone else ;) , that they wish would leave asap.

I never said these people are wrong, I never wished them leaving. I never wished them dead. I never told them that they dont function properly. Still I am the problem here, it seems. xD

They do their thing and always feel interrupted by us. Then they raise their voice on forum, because they are afraid, that we could destroy their product by spreading bad PR...while they could just ignore us and keep enjoying their world. But noooOOoOOOo, they do need to come here and try to prove us wrong.

I could also ignore every action by MA that I really dislike, but I couldnt enjoy the game then.
But if Im not allowed to say what I really dislike, using clear words, because it is easier to leave...what is the sense of a game-discussion-forum then ?

Also, lets face it, these discussuons are held by the 5-10 usual suspects anyway. I could say its pure time wasting, but its not. I wish others will read about the other site of Entropia as well. I dont want to scare them away, but prepare them instead. That, if you get sucked deep into Entropia, at one point, everything is based on hope only.

The estimated 20.000 users of this world arent even here. They dont even SEE a reason to post here...and thats not only because they think this game is fully perfect.

Would be interesting to hear some of the hundreds of thousands of the 1 mio. registreed accounts in here.

Thats why I left PCF behind...the truth was always formed to their needs there. Without our criticism only some "this game is sh!t" and "I have bad loot" would have been left as... so called "negative-posts"...

So, if you are with him, one could assume, you are representing his opinion. Right ?

If I did not get your sarcasm or if this was a missunderstanding or simply not meant the way it feels, I apologize.

 

NO, I never said I wanted you gone or to kill yourself, what I said between the lines as you so much like to point out so much is that if you did kill yourself I would be very pissed at you due to the simple fact that this is just a game and that you would have ended your live due to this simple game.

Second you seem to say you would like to have a lot of people view your posts..well remember you did and most all were yelling at you all the time about putting the game down so much every hour for years now. So much so a lot of you posted a good bye to all on PCF forum stating the game is dead and that you were going to move over to EP.

I for one would just like to hear the good side of the game, knowing very well what the bad side is (come on we are not stupid). We don't need to hear you day after day putting the game down making posts on topics like this stating that a planet has failed and no one should go visit. Come on..
