Noticed anything unusual? Please let us know. This post will try and keep track of the bugs reported and found, and will be my "to do" list. Should you be able to reproduce an error, but maybe with additional information, please do add a post. Anything that helps pinpoint the cause of an issue is most welcome :)

    Reported errors:

    - Image resizer seems to be weird. Clicked thumbs show up crooked.

    Errors possibly solved:

    - Gallery options after clicking "My Photos". Sometimes clickable thumbnails seemed to end in empty/blank screens. I removed a few of the options, which seemed to cause this behaviour. I *think* that did the trick, but feel free to let me know.

    Solved errors:

    - Home menu item links to index.php? instead of index.php

It helps, if you after a busy day at work doing Business Objects and reports (which you love so much), and after making the fire (men does that), walking out with the trash, buying grosseries, feeding bunnies and birds and whatever living things, remove dead mice from traps, doing garden work, laundry - GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR and do NOT drink that one Beer .... Imagine what you could do all that time ...

I was young and my wife said we needed the money. Great, now I'll be the laughing stock of anyone who works seriously in IT.

In my defence, I think BO is the worst piece of malware ever produced, and I've been trying to switch jobs for the last 11 months. My internal profile even states "Do NOT contact me about Business Objects, unless those two words are directly preceded by "Uninstall and burn all copies of"".

This is not really a bug but a case of preference.

I have a wide 25 inch monitor, it's a huge amount of space. When I look at this forum the middle text part covers roughly 80% of the monitor. So makes it difficult to read text unless I reduce the size of my firefox window.

On EF I can view it even maximised because I reckon they must have a fixed width for their column sizes. It makes it easy to read.

  7. This can easily be fixed by adding a max-width to the main table.

What's your screen resolution and what width do you think is still readable w/o problems?

Below is a pic of what this forum looks like on my computer:

My screen resolution is set to 1920x1200 pixels.
    I'm using the latest firefox version Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

It's still readable just has too many words per line than should be. I have around 35 words on a full line. There should ideally be around 10-12 words per line. so in the pic where we can see the banner advert that maybe should be the total width of all the columns.

How does this forum look like on your computer? I'm guessing yours is same as EF, indeed I have no problem on EF. EF looks like follows on my computer:

As you can see 10-12 words per line in the main article:

  9. It is no bug, it is intended to stretch if there is more space available (and EF looks very small on your screenie). But that much space stretches it beyond any good readability: A compromise must be found somewhere in between the two extremes - as i see it, there is no real benefit in having a fluid design when the min width is determined by the header width (roughly 1000 pixels) and 200-300 pixels wider results in bad readability.

EF looks fine on my screenie, it follows an important typographic rule (10-12 words per line.)

I'm not sure what you meant for compromise. Is it possible for me to turn the strech function off? I would have thought that's only for an admin to change.

  11. You seem to have a problem with the home page, It says..

    oh yes .. well....*HIDES*

Peter is playing with a new module for the front site and somehow he mixed up the permissions ... It should be fixed now and we appologize a bunch for the troubles! :)

not a bug but a cosmetic observation... on the main forum page where you have the section headings (Planet Calypso, Entropia Universe - General etc) the text below looks wrong as the graphic looks wrong as it strikes through the text. assuming this is a skin thing an you are hppy with that skin (works for me) it might look better to have the text after the section heading, ie Entropia Universe - Genral News and information about the Entropia Universe platform.
