A while ago, we started our Tutorial Competition, which at the time was supposed to act as a reminder to FPC about their unfinished competition. Unfortunately, as it stands, due to the split between SEE and MindArk, that competition might never be finished. In order to ensure that those who contributed to the FPC competition still have a shot at getting some form of compensation for their time and effort, we have decided to launch a new tutorial competition, similar to the one ran on PCF before. We have received a number of tutorials during the last competition, so instead of reusing the same categories used last time, we figured this time we will give free reign to the participants. In other words, you are free to write new tutorials on topics already covered by tutorials in our "Tutorials, Guides and Help" forum, or add new ones that you feel would greatly help out newcomers to the Entropia Universe. We still are unable to create armour, so we again offer 100 PED to the winning entries. Ten winners will be picked, so the total prize-pot is 1,000 PED. Participants are welcome to submit more than one tutorial. Rules: Judges are Lykke, MindStar and Peter. Judging will be done without prejudice. Anyone willing to write a tutorial is free to enter the competition. Entering the competition can be done by posting a thread in the tutorial section of the forum with the tutorial in it, and then posting in this thread, with a link to your tutorial, and your full ingame avatar name. Should you be unable or unwilling to post your tutorial in that section, but you do want to enter the competition, then please mail it to "admin at entropiaplanets dot com". Be advised that if you participate in that manner and end up winning for a specific category, then we reserve the right to post the tutorial on your behalf after the competition ends (after all, there's no point in writing a tutorial you're not willing to have shared). All entries should be submitted no later than August 1st, 23:59:59 MindArk time. We will announce the winning tutorials within 10 days after the competition ends. Should your tutorial entry be selected, you grant EntropiaPlanets the rights to copy and share the tutorial with our partner sites (specifically planet partners) and allow us to add a copy of the tutorial to the EntropiaPlanets Wiki (of course while giving proper credits) if we so desire. Best of luck to everyone participating!
