Today, we are proud to announce a new service that we hope every entrepeneur within the Entropia Universe will appreciate: __ You will find a new option called "Yellow Pages" in the navbar, which will bring you to this new feature, EntropiaPlanets Yellow Pages. The way it works is the following You can set up a service, which can be anything ranging from a fapping service, event organising service, a shop, booth, or land area. You can do this by first clicking the "My Yellow Pages" tab, and then setting up a service where you give it a proper name, and fill in the other settings. We intentionally differentiate between the person creating (owning) the Service, and "Operated by", which means you can act as an event manager for a LandArea. The name of the service in this case can have a reference to the place, and the Operated By can list the full avatar name of the owner of the estate. This can of course also be used to register your own full ingame name. It is mostly a pointer/extra bit of information to ensure that your clientele will know they have the right person/place. Location1 and Location2 can be used to register coordinates, or if you prefer, maybe an address (i.e. Location1: Treasure Island City - Location2: Plantinum Building, 16G). You can register the nearest TP location, a link to a page on the wiki site (feel free to set up your own page on our wiki to promote your business), and provide directions on how to get there. You can also add files and pictures if you want to make your servicestand out, or provide additional graphical information (like how to easily identify your store, etc). At this moment, the maximum amount of services you can set up is 1. In the near future, we intend to offer subscribing members the ability to create as many services as they want. Create an offering to your service After you created a service, you can then choose to also create an offering. An offering will have to be attached to a service, and you can register as many offerings under your service as you want. The basic idea here is that if you have a shop, you can, for instance, list items you have for sale here, or you can organize multiple events under the same service. These can be unique offerings, or recurring offerings. The fields for an offering are pretty similar to those of the service, giving you even more flexibility to guide your customers to specific locations (I.e. Left-most cabinet, top shelf). The possibilities are virtually endless. Promote your business So if you own an Entropia business, or offer some sort of service, feel free to create a free service in our yellow pages and get the exposure your business needs. Create your very own business listing, and link to it in your forum-profile in order to proudly leave a businesscard to your potential customerbase every time you post.
