As you might have noticed, tonight we changed the way that embedded videos are handled. No more need for the often tedious way of stripping a video ID from a YouTube url, only to STILL see it fail in the post. As a little bonus, it is now also possible to add embedded videos from various other sites. They should automatically be parsed. We've enabled some of the major networks, some comical sites (TheOnion, and various ComedyCentral reports, though there might be some trouble with some of them (I couldn't get the DailyShow to work, for instance), and liveleak and google video. Feel free to report any mishandlings by the mod, and I'll try to look into it.
