I would personally find that this site compliments (as oppose to competes) all the other sites and the game itself very nicely. It has the cleanest look and quality features than any of the other forum sites for EU that I've seen. With even the official ones included among that list. Though all serve the player base in their own separate way. I hate joining forums. This one feels very worth my while and welcoming as well as critically constructive. Though I'm admittedly new to the both the community and even the games player base, I feel I can say that this website has the greatest sum of wise dissenters that make the game & the work done on it, all the better. Sorry if that is at all poorly constructed grammar. My lack of ability in that area made it hard for me to word that any better in the time crunch I'm on. I 'll make good use of that edit button in any instance I stand corrected. ;D

We do our best to make this place feel like home but with healthy criticism about EU, its planets and creators and even ourselves if needed, believe me we are not perfect (yet) so there is definitely stuff to criticize ourselves about and we do not mind if others do the same, if it is something we can work with of course. 'You suck' is not very helpful, "You suck, because..." on the other hand is ;)
I must say l-o-l, you've written a very constructive and appealing intro with complimentary content about EP, and as someone who has been on staff a couple of times, and have been a member since the beginning of its inception, I think you made a wise choice. This forum is definitely for the players that span the entire universe, and the staff is amazing here. It just continues to get better and better. Like I said, I've been on staff a couple of times and have enjoyed it immensely, because the guys are incredible to work with, but now, I'm going to move forward as a civilian poster, but may not be posting that much. The staff have been kind enough to maintain a MindStar Media section where my writing work is, and where more will be added of what I've done over the years, including the player profiles and other things, but there will also be something new in the near future. I am grateful for their considerations, and I look forward to continuing to support their efforts in whatever ways I can, because I have things in real life I must attend to now that are important, and my time will be less available. I closed down the MindStar Media website, but a good portion of the content is here in the MSM section with more to come. I will have a new website revealed in the near future, but it will be an entirely different type of writing than I've done in the past. I know I've been quite vocal for a while with regard to my "in hate" relationship with MindArk, but feel with good reason ... however, I won't be offering any further negative posting in that respect, because it's going to be what it's going to be, and the rest of the community will continue to submit their opinions. This "all universe" forum deserves respect for the hard work that they do to keep this environment the best experience possible, and they are quite adept at research and keeping the community informed. Even their speculative articles come with hardcore research and substance, which I also have great respect for instead of postings that lack any depth in research or critical thinking. These guys give us something to really think about, and what the possibilities might be. Thank you l-o-l for your contributions thus far, they are thought-provoking, and content worth giving some attention to. I hope that you continue to appreciate this environment, because I know that I will. My long-time friends on staff are hard workers and deserve respect for same. They are quite relentless when it comes to hot topics, and inspiring discussions that motivate involvement. The Mission Statement is great, and I know there is much more to come, so work making this a home of sorts, or at least a frequently-visited environment. Thanks for everything guys.

Compared to all the MA- and planet partner-driven forums EntropiaPlanets is the best place to be part of the community. Once there was EntropiaForum. That was a place for everything and many colonists posted there. It was halfway open and very informativ. Well, this times are long gone, it became PlanetCalypsoForum, a lame ghost of what it was in the past, strongly controlled and overruled by some mind-control-agents. (The provider runs porn sites as well it seems.) Everybody who posts informations, experiances, whinings and happy moments as well as arts and stories here improves the worth of the forum to everyone else who is interested in. Don't hesitate!
