Sorry, folks. Seeing E3 is happening at the moment, I was trying to ensure that we'd be able to offer you the latest possible news from the gaming world by kicking in a few more RSS feeds and some additional terms to grab all the major news, but it seems that in the attempt to catch up with everything, our NewsBots has gone a wee bit overboard. As a result, you might have thought the forum was being flooded by aliens or hack attacks, but everything's alright. Should the amount of coverage from the Newsbot be too much for you to handle, please feel free to let me know. If there's particular articles from a particular feed that annoy the hell out of you, please also let me know so I can switch some hamsters in the newsbot around. The effect of all these multiposts should soon be done with, seeing all the catching up either has already happened or will happen within 30 minutes. So from now on, news should actually be shown as it comes in, rather than umpteen articles at the same time. Once again, my apologies for the flood of news. I do hope that you will perhaps find some use in the additional news we now can offer :)
No worreys, news can be good. Personally though I only have time for one addiction, so I just taught myself how to exclude the "other games" section or whatever its called from my new posts list so I don't have to worry about it. Im not sure how it works, but it would be nice to somehow exclude those items from my list unless someone responds. If someone feels the need to respond I wouldn't mind seeing them to decide if its worth reading or not. just my thoughts on it, keep up the good work, narfi
Hey Narfi, You can go into your User CP -> Options and then add the miscellaneous other games to the opt-out forum list. However, I think there's just far too much at the moment. I imagined that things would slow down after the initial runs, but apparently E3 is showing a lot of newsworthy stuff that is picked up by al the channels we stream from. I will disable some of the feeds in order to cut back on the amount of redundant news being shown.
