We are pleased to offer you the second issue of EntropiaTimes – EntropiaPlanets.com’s free online magazine (also available as a printed copy by order only, and for a limited time only for each issue). The first issue of the magazine was published in September – and became, to our surprise, a much larger success than we thought it would be - not only as an online magazine but definitely also as a printed copy. With the release of this December issue we therefore decided to make it possible for those who were too late for the September printed copy to re-order. --------------------------------------- EP Media Center delivers news EntropiaPlanets.com continues to bring you breaking news, player profiles, interesting articles, and exclusive interviews. People behind the magazine are all people who are a part of the Entropian Community – who believe they have something to offer, stories to tell, and news to deliver. We brought together some of these hardworking people to create a Media Center at EntropiaPlanets, and these are the people who provide us with hot news about what's happening in our Universe, along with exclusive interviews of Planet Partners. As a result of the quality work done by our Media Team, we decided to join forces and make an exclusive magazine with news not being published anywhere else. --------------------------------------- Interactive magazine The magazine was created in an interactive way, meaning that it contains links to wiki pages and websites. This is the case for regular info links, but also for the advertisements within the magazine. If you hover over a link, your cursor will change to a little hand, and if you click, the link will open up a new browser window. This gives us an even better opportunity to provide you with background information. --------------------------------------- EntropiaTimes Forum We created an EntropiaTimes forum for discussion of the magazine. This will also be where we will add a link to each edition of the magazine to make it easier for you to find it. The forum mentioned can also be accessed directly by browsing to www.entropiatimes.com. There are two versions of the magazine. One is an interactive version where you can navigate between the pages by hovering over the corners of a page, and the other is a regular PDF version. Be aware, that it might take a few minutes to download the files :) --------------------------------------- Did you order your printed copy? If you find that you really like the magazine, and would like to receive a printed copy as well, you can still order but ONLY until tomorrow, the 13th of December. After this the magazines will be printed in the ordered amount, and we will not reprint the magazine this time. This goes for both issues. To order, please pay $18 USD through PayPal to admin@entropiaplanets.com – including your avatar name, a specification of what issues you’re ordering and your real name and shipping address. As a side note, the shipping for the previous issue was underestimated, so we need to make sure we can cover it this time. --------------------------------------- September Contest A lot of people contributed to our EntropiaTimes contest in the September issue with some very constructive feedback on both the magazine and the forum. The result from this and the 2 winners are announced in this issue of EntropiaTimes. Congratulations to the winners of a vehicle - please contact me for the in game hand-over. --------------------------------------- Forum Theme and small changes We changed a few things on the forum to mirror the theme of the magazine, which is ROCKtropia. The actual header will remain until right after New Year, then we go back to 'normal.' One of the changes is the Conquest System, which will be set to zero again, and with new ROCKtropian clans to pick. :) Good luck to the Dragons, Security Guards and Vampire Chicks! --------------------------------------- From all of us here at EntropiaPlanets to all of you, we would like to wish you a Happy Holiday Season and lots of reading pleasure. :) --------------------------------------- The Interactive PDF File Procedure: Open the file - it will open up in your browser, and might take a few minutes to load. You will see the file as a real magazine, with the front page first - and you can turn pages by using the arrows shown under the magazine. Scroll up and down if the page is too large, by using the weel on the mouse. It is possible to zoom in and out by right clicking on the pages and chose that setting. Be aware, that the interactive file setting is not a 100% sized file, because that would be too big for some screen settings. Use the zoom in and out function - it works pretty well The normal PDF file procedure: Open up the file In the PDF programe head menu choose View -> Page Display -> Two-Up Also choose -> Show cover page during Two-Up This will show you the magazine as a real magazine too.

Thanks Alpha :) And as you can see on page 5, Peter (admin) also went through a lot to ad to the virtual reality feeling :D
Excellent Read and layout... Creative Interviews... subversive undertones... Entropia Times magazine is a Must read for anyone interested in Entropia Universe!
Congrats on the second issue guys - a much-anticipated issue, as I'm sure future ones will be. *makes another coffee to sit down and start reading* I'm much more excited about it that this emoticon makes me look:
How the hell did you get NEVERDIE to pose for page 5 ... oh wait, never mind :D Love it again people, but I'll be waiting to read most of it until I get the paper version.
You guys did another fantastic job on this second issue. Love the incredible details, and personal touch that the writers gave to their stories, interviews and features. The Entropia Times is a great window for the community and a valuable tool for the Entropia Universe Platform, so please keep them coming!
And an interesting interview with you Ed, didn;t know you did all that stuff before you started to work on the game, you seem to be a very busy and creative man even at a much younger age. Keep up the good work !!
I really enjoyed reading this when I was giving it a proof read. There are some really well written interviews and articles, very inspiring stuff about following dreams and all the hard work that goes into building a planet.
Who says lightning dosen't strike twice in the same place? Congrats to the entire team behind the December edition of EntropiaTimes! Great interviews, great articles, and well-polished layouts all contribute to a really snazzy piece of work! For lack of a better word, you've done a stellar job! I found the horoscopes to be especially useful! As I am a Rippersnapper (for this issue, anyway), I found your warning in time. I have indeed avoided the Smoke on the Water, by moving into the Deep Purple waters. I still feel uncertain, though... should I descend towards the Blackmore? I fear that if I do, people will call me Lazy and further, I will lose contact with My Woman from Tokyo. Please let me know when it's safe for me to come up, as I love taking my Valkyrie on the roads of Calypso occasionally. After all, I'm a Highway Star!
ok,ok, dont hit me! lmao. the man's certainly got a vision. but I cant get the grin out of my face when I think of this :D so much info I didnt have :) but two links are broken (or maybe it's just me) : page 50 'www.digitalscryers.com%0d' has a whole new tld on the ads page, if you click on the book you get to the next page of the pdf file instead of the books website
I was adamant to finish reading the Entropia Times in one sitting and ended up going to bed at 2-plusish am. What can I say...Kudos to the E-Team for once again summarising another Quarter of bustling happenings in the Universe of Entropia into 72 pages of informative, personalized and interesting reads. I'm very impressed by the various exclusive interviews and it was well worth the time to read through the whole magazine. Awesome piece of art! I know its hard work but I imagine the immense feeling of satisfaction when it's published would be worth the time and effort spent. Keep up the great work guys. Can't give enough plaudits for the magazine. P.S I'm a fan of John Bates. Could we have some more exclusive from him in the next edition. Pretty pls...lol.
