Yesterday, for the first time since last week's VU, I set up an event at a land area, and noticed a change to the event system that wasn't documented in the release notes. The cost to create an event at an LA has been reduced to 25 PED plus another 25 PED per 30 minutes. Previously it was 50 PED + 25 PED/30 mins. So any LA event is now 25 PED cheaper to create, which means I can now offer a slightly better deal to clients :) I don't know if the pricing at the Event Zones has also changed, I'll check this out later. I also don't know if this only applies to Calypso or if Rocktropia areas are affected - I would assume that LA events at Rocktropia are similarly reduced in price. If you want to hire Entropian Events to run some cheaper events at your LA then get in touch :)
This is very good news, esp for lower level events where entry fees and prizes are lower which has made the fees the biggest part of the cost of running. narfi
Good to see this! Retarded FPC didnt promote the hell out of it, lol i looked into doing some events when i was on rock, but unless its a really big event, using the event system was just too expensive. no its a little better although i would like to see it lower still. it doesnt cost MA/FPC anything for us to use the system since its in place already. players dont use it since its expensive, they earn nothing, lessen the cost it becomes more attractive.
