After lifting their NDA and going 24/7, I can now officially announce the closed beta of this awesome game! > The game takes place after the events portrayed in the video. After the Arclight crashed, the melding got released. Some sort of poisonous gas that wraps the entire planet. In the game you will be dynamically fighting the melding, pushing it back and revealing more of the world (they're planning to do the entire earth on a 1/5 scale!). The beta currently exists of a 10 square miles area in Copacabana, Brazil. Here you will fight all sorts of massive bugs, that is, when you're not being attacked by the Chosen. A group of people that tries to take over earth, ever since the melding got released. They will also trigger random events, like attacking a city or launching drop pods in the jungle to set up camp, etc. Another big part of the game is thumping. This is basically mining for resources, while under attack: > To do all this, you can currently choose between 5 battleframes (Assault, Medic, Dreadnought, Recon, Engineer). You can switch between them whenever you reach a battleframe station, and they will gain levels independent of your other battleframes. When I get some more beta invites, I might throw some your way!
