Sure, PFC is just another 711/ Neomaven/ Vixen owned forum. And this isn't what the community needs. And buying this MA has shown what they want - no real forum, but a place where they'd be hallowed, for no further cost.

PFC (and EF) are far from neutral. They are owned by a player with an "at least dubious background" (friendly spoken), and pointing to it there will yield you a ban quickly. So far - well, if it pleases ...

But as we see, especially on PFC, there's people coming into Mod range that could easily be seen as fanbois, or as ppl ways too much engaged due to personal investments.

I think both a Space-wide half-official forum, as well as a Special-planet half-official forum, both directly controlled by 1 player should just not exist. I think no half-official forum should exist at all!

1 Official forum for MA, 1 official forum for every planet. And then, more or less welcome other forums, equally treated with fan programs. Either official or inofficial, but not such junk as we have now with the 711 forums.

If MA or the calypso team want a forum, there's plenty of those out there. Where they could buy a neutral moderation, and a better handling, and more benefit for the community, for small money.

EP wouldn't be official (it's still made of players, even if I have a very high opinion of the makers, and an utmost respect in what they created). But there's so many ways to bind in a fan forum!

MA could hire an external company to provide & moderate this, and a neutral forum for all of EU. This would make sense.

And the Calypso daughter could do, so, too. Maybe they even could stay at 711/ Neomaven/ Vixen. Their choice then. That wouldn't matter then.

Now just make a rule where it is decided what dev answers where, and you're done.

MA posts as it is in PFC now? No way. This doesn't belong to there, and doing it is just another foul way to push the self-owned planet. Any MA posts would belong to a interplanetary forum, right? They are the platform developers, after all ...

cant say I blame him tbh...I get pissed at people too but then we have the PAF Mods skype channel to vent in instead of blowing a gasket on the forum.... Might be an idea JC...

Isn't it great that Mindark devs play forum favoritism and allow censor happy forum-nazi mods to run around with their own personal brand of censorship to keep the masses from finding out the 'truth' behind the way things are?
