It might not be the painfully teased sequel fans have been clamoring for for years now, however Ubisoft has revealed that it plans to release an HD re-mastered version of its beloved and acclaimed action-adventure title Beyond Good & Evil on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live next year. Commence giggling with girlish glee in three…two…one. IGN witnessed photojournalist Jade in all her 1080p glory and report that like other HD re-masters, BG&E’s will feature updated visuals, character models, and soundtrack, as well as trophy and Achievement support and online leaderboards. The game doesn’t have a firm release date, other than 2011, which is a shame, but just the fact that so many more people are going to have the chance to experience one of the greatest games of all time for the first time makes the wait totally worth it. On the other hand, this makes me think that we really won’t be seeing Beyond Good & Evil 2 for at least another two years, as this rerelease feels like a “Here, this should tide you over while you wait a bit longer” kind of move. Hopefully this isn’t the case though. Papa needs his BG&E2! Source: IGN Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.
