Can’t wait until January to start tearing your friends apart in Necromorph frenzy? Good news. You might not have to, as Visceral Games has started sending out invites to PlayStation 3 owners for the closed multiplayer beta for its much anticipated action-horror sequel Dead Space 2. As Kotaku reports, the invites are finding their way into the inboxes of “dedicated fans,” who are now able to download and jump into the beta. At least, that is according to a number of invitees how have voiced their thanks to the Dead Space team via Twitter. Dead Space 2 multiplayer puts players in control of either horrifying Necromorphs or a human security force, as each try to rid the Sprawl of one another in a terrifying and intense fight for survival.
