In honor of the 25th anniversary of the original NES and gaming’s most famous plumber, Nintendo has revealed new Wii and DSi XL bundles coming to store shelves November 7.

The anniversary Wii bundle includes a limited edition Wii painted Mario-overalls red with matching red Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk, a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and a copy of Wii Sports, all for $199.99.

The DSi XL bundle, which will run you $179.99, comes with a similarly colored DSi XL, but is also sports some Super Mario Bros. art on it as well. It also includes a copy of Mario Kart DS, and the standard preloads: Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math, and Photo Clock.

Nintendo also announced that the recently revealed Wii Remote Plus, which is just the original Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus built in, will now become the standard controller included with all new Wiis and bundles, in addition to being available for $39.99 on its own.

FlingSmash, a new tennis/pinball inspired title, will be among the first new bundles to include the new Wii Remote Plus. The bundle wil cost $49.99.

(We recently celebrated Nintendo's big anniversary ourselves by sharing our favorite NES memories. Only a few of them were tinged red though.)
