Game not starting

  1. I used to play this game like 6 weeks ago. but i stopped playing for awhile, now i updated the game and try to play now and it takes like 3 minutes to load...then it goes to a black screen where i can only see the ingame mouse pointer and its slightly flashing from the normal to brownish.

As background information, it has always taken extreme amounts of time to open the game on my computer...about 3 minutes to get to the black screen and then another 5 for the login menu to actually appear, but now im stuck at the black screen.

    for my computer specs.
im running on a windows vista 64-bit
    6 Gigs of ram
graphics card is Nvidea GeForce GTX 260
everything for software like direct x and stuff is more than up to date.

if anyone can help please do.

Try uninstalling and reloading, that should fix it.

You can also try selecting safe-mode in the client loader and if that works, then start tweeking your gfx settings up from there.

  4. MindStar9

    MindStar9 Floating in Space

tried the safe mode, didnt help one bit. it seems to just be the game, since the first time i played it. it takes like 8 minutes before i see the login menu so i can log in.. is everyone else like that? my computer easily supports this game once im finally in it... but now it wont load the login thing.

also is there a way i can uninstall the game and reinstalling it without actually re-downloading the game?

also have there been similar issues that i may want to look at?

  5. Have you tried File>Repair Installation from the Client Loader menu?
